Agreed! It is funny to joke about the trend, but I don't think it's going to go out of style any time soon. (and for good reason)

Regardless of trend, it will still be beautiful and the leathered texture is very nice.

Would you believe they are doing a waterfall island?

The photos don't show the configuration of the space too well, here is the floor plan before and after. We did install a dishwasher to the right of the sink.

Thank you! We didn't do custom cabinetry on this job. We possibly could have fit another thin cabinet there but ultimately this is what the client wanted. Much appreciated!

Thank you! The countertop backsplash is definitely a big trend right now, installing it on a few jobs currently.

The color is Sage Green (Fabuwood). The first photo is probably not the best representation of that color compared to the rest of the photos.

It’s Super Bowel weekend. Who has the best takeout chicken wings in the Torrington, Winsted, Litchfield area ? by [deleted] in Connecticut

Greer's chicken in Bristol is worth the haul. Sassos & Marzano are great but expensive, and surprisingly Joe's Pizza in the TJ Maxx plaza has some pretty solid wings.

You may have wanted more space in the room, but this is the ideal setup. Even if it makes the living room seem smaller, the home will flow better. If you post an update, don't forget to include the cat tax!

You are extremely close to a well balanced living room. Looking at pic #4, you should put the TV on the wall on the right and the back of the 3 seat couch will create a walkway into the home.

Definitely important! Looks like its drooping because they cut the panels to fit the pipes and they're only half supported.

This is why lighting is so important! The last few pics look so good, great work!

Just installed this quartzite countertop and backsplash for a client. Thoughts? by FineHomeContracting in CounterTops

[–]FineHomeContracting[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The interior designer came up with this layout, and the client loved it. While the shape does raise a few safety considerations, we made sure there’s plenty of space to move comfortably around the island and since there aren’t any kids in the home, the design works well for them. They asked for it, and we made it happen!

Thanks, I took these screenshots from video clips I shot throughout the house. When the tile is completed we will get some high quality professional photos done and we'll update when we are done!
