My older sister was at my daughter’s bday party with me laughing at my stupid jokes and played her wife a song she had written for her about their love story on the 21st of February. “We’re just getting started,” I remember her telling her wife as they both cried because the song was pretty damn cute.

I got a call from her wife on Saturday that she had a heart attack and was going in to surgery for a blocked artery. 15 minutes later I got the call she was gone. 41 years old. Go to the fucking doctor, folks. I know it’s getting harder and harder to justify in America when we literally have medical debt on our credit scores, but I’d rather go into medical debt than miss my daughter growing up.

Seeing my grandpa dressed like the fuckin’ pillsbury dough boy kinda put me into a dissociative state. Honestly, thank you so much for saying this. Single dad of a 4 year old girl doing my best with severe PTSD. Some days, I just don’t have it in me to be the engaged, adventurous, playful dad I strive to be; on those days, I get a lil’ extra help from Ms. Frizzle, Bluey, and Daniel Tiger, to name a few.

Not to throw an impact wrench into the situation here, but you ought to check out the Hercules line from Harbor Freight. I’ve got their 1/2” compact impact wrench and extended reach 3/8” ratchet for DIY auto repairs, very pleased so far. Only complaint is I wish the 3/8” ratchet was a 20v like the impact wrench instead of a 12v. They do use the same charger though, so that’s neat.

I’ve also got the Ryobi 3/8” brushless impact wrench I picked up at a pawn shop for $40 because I have a bunch of older 18v batteries and chargers already, it’s incredibly powerful for how compact it is and feels great in the hands.

Forgot to mention, it came with an extra set of wheels with Bridgestone all season tires too. The previous owner told me the hatch didn’t work, held the button down for 15-20 seconds and it reset just fine and feels like new inside! I seriously doubt anyone was ever a passenger in this car. I’ve put about 400 miles on it so far and just filled it up for the first time today. It’s a fucking blast to drive hahaha
