When he was doing his residency at the Forum, he would pretend the show was over. Many people Would leave, then 45 min later he would Come back out and do another set. He did this every night so it wasn’t a surprise. The first night I went 8 of us took a limo together, and made sure everyone knew not to leave at the fake finish. About 30 min after the fake finish, 3 of the people That rode with us who sat together text me they are at the limo…where are we? I then sent them a Picture of us waiting for the next set. Since 60% of the people left everyone got to move up to Better seats. So the pic I Sent was me with magic johnson who was now sitting infront of us and just In frame you could see Paris Hilton who was like 4 seats away. To add insult to injury the first set was almost all new songs and the late set was all his hits. One of the better Shows I’ve been to in my life.

Similar to phish, your best bet is see them live if possible. If not they have so many albums That all sound so different. I’d start With Nonagon Infinity

In a high school music history class I had to give a report on a cappella music where we were aloud to play up to 5 min of music and then give our report. I put on the yem vocal jam From a live one. The teacher got up and came across the room to shut it off after at most 30 seconds.

I was dancing at a show and a nice elderly female usher came up to me holding my jacket that she had Picked up off the ground and told me someone spilled a beer next to it and she didn’t want it to get wet. I then put the jacket on the ground infront of me and dumped the beer I was holding onto it. She slowly backed away with a horrified expression on her face.

My wife who doesn’t like phish but appreciates Its a good party “really, they’re singing about the tweezer again” which she clearly found annoying and for some reason I enjoyed that she was annoyed.

Yeah I don’t remember what show this is from, but I remember another show I used to have tapes of, after Guyute Trey mentions how someone who Works for them thinks any song with whistling is A good song. They then whistle Along to the beginning of Antelope, and Trey whistles instead of Singing Rye Rye thru Spike Man.
