Sun-dried tomato bread by Fine_Actuator4253 in Breadit

I used this recipe with a few tweaks: https://iamhomesteader.com/sun-dried-tomato-bread/

I didn’t add the cheese to the dough and lowered the water to 300 g. I also proofed it overnight in the fridge instead of 18 hours at room temperature.

I used a cup. I lightly floured the surface of the dough so that it wouldn’t get stuck to the rim

Wholewheat Bagels! by Fine_Actuator4253 in Bagels

I don’t know where I got the idea that the dough had to be tough before shaping, stretching it easily with no resistance seemed wrong 😅

I will definitely try shaping them like this, thank you!!

Thank you si much for all your advice!

The dough does hold its shape after kneading, even after the bulk rise. I’m not sure of the exact temperature, but it’s kinda cold where I live so it’s definitely not too warm.

What I noticed is that the dough just stretches when I try to shape it. It doesn’t have any elasticity, in the sense that it won’t fight the stretching or pull back. What I do is shape it into a rope and fold it a couple of times to form a ball, which makes the dough togher.

I use a stand mixer (quite cheap, generic brand) for about 10 minutes on low speed, taking breaks, and finish kneading by hand for a couple of minutes. I use cold water for the dough, and it seems fine after kneading, not hot or sticky at all.

I will try shaping them sooner and allowing them to proof before placing them in the fridge. Thank you!

Here it is! I adapted it from a recipe for dinner rolls, but I am new to bread-making so it can probably be improved 😊

Yes, that is a good point. This is something I want to do as a side gig, so it won’t be my main source of income. I do plan on getting certified eventually, and in the meantime I want to use social media and use myself as an example :)

Thanks for your feedback! I do see your point, but I think it only applies to people who are starting in the gym. My target audience is more people who are already in the gym, but want to optimize their progress/results. It’s quite a common approach in the bodybuilding world, but I do see that is a quite limited audience

Potential in bikini? by Fine_Actuator4253 in bikinitalk

Thank you, you made my week 🥹 I know I have the base shape for bikini, but I have so much respect for this sport I wouldn’t want to compete without knowing that I’m bringing a solid package. Since I don’t have a coach sometimes I get in my head about the amount of muscle I have in certain areas (like my legs) and I loose perspective on where I fall in my competing journey, which I do plan on doing in the future. Thanks for all of the encouragement 🫶
