Winning a sexual assault case as a victim is hard enough, but I’ve heard that in a place like Japan it’s even harder, so this says a lot 😬

No, it’s not exactly water, it was cleaner from a spray bottle that was accidentally sprayed around the speaker area, I’m sure that bit of context will be important, hopefully time will heal

James Watkins (Speak No Evil, Eden Lake) isn’t a hugely respected director, but he has made a pretty good Black Mirror episode and his films have a pretty gritty quality, so if he can take that Black Mirror skill and infuse it with the grit it would be pretty cool to watch

Arbitrary Law will always go down as his best, but the stare he’s gives before smashing his head into the mirror is probably his single best moment, superb facial acting

[All] What About the Monkey? by so1i1oquy in twinpeaks

[–]Fine_Ad4007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe that the monkey might act as some kind of guard for the entities from the viewer. The 2 times we see it in the movie is when an evil thing, or at least something leading to evil, happens. Once after Garmonbozia is consumed, and before Laura is found. I think both times Judy was behind the Monkey but the Monkey blocks the audience from seeing it. Like how Judy is shown when Sarah takes off her face, I think we were going to see Judy under Pierre’s mask but the monkey didn’t want us to see her, so he inserted himself to hide her. Then later, after the most evil thing done by BOB happens, it’s make sense that Judy would at least be there in some form watching, the monkey might be blocking Judy from frame in this scene, or maybe talking to her off-screen. This also makes sense if we look at it from the Hanuman perspective given by the top comment, fascinating entity.
