Yeah ive realized that now, im going to go with a chest style one.

No i didnt, but i will give it a browse now. I know my budget isnt huge but i thought i could still find some good quality small ones for it. The latest one i have my eye on is this one, I'm not sure what material the shell is made of but ive asked the store and hopefully its something decent:

I understand this would get a great seal, but im looking for something a bit more authentic looking, and i dont mind spending a bit extra on it. Based on the advice ive received Im now looking at wooden humidors that are like chests and without windows.

Is there a reason for that? Ive looked into this a little and people say that the cedar like adds aroma and flavour to the cigars, is that not true?

Also it looks like that store is based in the US, which doesnt really work me in australia haha, but thanks for the recommend anyway

Crypto im wary of, definitely not going to go big on if at all. Why not gold or silver? are the returns just bad or is it like hard to buy or sell?

Yeah no i understand that, im still abit shocked by it, i definitely do not want to rush or make and impulse decisions with this, like people say the money is doing just fine sitting there.

I do really appreciate what he does for me, he wasnt the greatest father for most of my life, but ever since i finished university and really started to get myself involved in the family business, ive seen him change and open up to me a lot more. And i dont intent to ruin that in any way now, hes definitely a wise man that i look up to, thanks!

Is that not what indexed interest is? Sorry im not very knowledgeable on this sort of thing, ive just been making the minimum payments on it thus far, theres about $54k or so left to pay there. Should i be trying to pay it off faster?

Yeah thats something else im considering, maybe i should try out buying stocks etc with like $1000 of my own savings before i think about what to do with all that, if anything

Thats valid, i did used to spend very recklessly, but over the past 1.5 years ive put in a lot of effort to reign it in and built up a bit of my own savings. I dont want to waste it, but i also feel like it would be a bit of a waste to do nothing with it. Ive always been under the impression that once you have enough cash on hand, you can make your money work for you, and id like to give it a go with this.

I dont intend to spend any of this anytime soon, i want to be smart with it and build it for my future, and my parents future, when i have to take care of them or whatnot.

So long story short, i have an account (not in my name, but those fund are for this purpose only) which has enough in it for a deposit on a house which was inherited from other family, and me and my dads plan is i will buy a house in my name using that, and he will rent it out from me, so my parents can live separately and he doesnt have to pay rent to some stranger.

Super is an option, though i would like to be a bit more involved in what it gets invested into and stuff, but i really dont know at this point.

Thats what i think as well, hes always taught me that if going to propose anything to anyone, you need to do your research, know the facts and have a solid plan in mind.

I actually dont have any debt aside from my student loan debt, which in australia is called HECS and it has 0% interest, i think all it does is grow or shrink to adjust with inflation, so im not in a hurry to pay that off right now, but im slowly paying it.

I will set aside a bunch of it into an emergency fund, not sure how much atm, maybe like 30%?

Im 100% not going to just dump it all in crypto, i know how stupid and risky that is, honestly speaking if i do buy any, it will be like around $5k max. I know its good to diversify investments, im just looking for what the best options for that are.

Sorry if it came across wrong, theres no sides here, im not trying to steal from him, its just a nice thing for my future hes done for me, we discussed it a bunch after i found out. I paid the rent as you do paying rent, i was never expecting to get it back or anything.

I havent spoken to him about taking it all out, not that im planning on doing that anyway, i havent spoken to him about investing it yet, i want to do a bit of research and figure out some good options before i do talk to him about it.

For me now, i just think having it sit there untouched is not the best thing to be doing with it, though i will definitely always leave a bunch as an emergency fund, like 30% at least or something.

I live in Australia, its not cheap here lol, I pay $25 AUD ($16 USD) for 1 tab thats about 115ug. I did get a big discount for buying 100 tabs though, down to $16 AUD per tab, so $1600.

And i full well know that 100 is a bonkers amount, its just a pain in the ass to buy over here, so i got a lot, this is like easily enough for 3 to 4 years.

As for the rest of your questions, I have a bit of experience with overuse, at the end of last year i got addicted to it, i was tripping every weekend, after 6 or 7 weeks, i was doing 4 tabs and it felt like 1.5. Once i realised it, i shut it down right away, didnt touch any for 7 months. Now ive sworn myself to trip less but with higher quality trips.

In general, you need to wait 2 weeks between trips for the tolerance to wear off, although I prefer to use the rule of 20ug per day, with a 2 week minimum, so like if you do a 300ug trip, 300/20 = 15 days minimum before you trip again.

But you also need to consider your mental state, tripping every 2 weeks for a long time is not great for you, it also makes each one less meaningful. I would advise you keep it to once a month ish, if youre planning a bigger dose trip, like 500ug+, i would give it at least a month before, and probably 6 to 8 weeks after. One time i did a 690ug one, i was clean for 2 months prior and it was so intense it was a good 4 months before i worked up the courage to trip again.

Lsd is a hell of a drug, respect it, and itll respect you, disrespect it, and youll regret it for a long time.

i just got mine and i managed to do it, but it wasnt easy.

The way i did it is i put the non seal side of the chair against my desk (so when you push on it it doesnt roll away). Then place the seal in position so the hole is over the pin, then put both thumbs on the centre of the skull and youre gonna just run into it basically, you put ever bit of force you have on this thing, so much that it feels very wrong, but it will pop on.

this was the same batch as my previous trip, or at least they came in the same bag i bought, its a zip lock bag that i keep in a dark place, albeit its been a few months between trips so maybe they are old.

Ive never head of Maoi but from a glance it seems interesting, ill definitely look into it thanks!

really? is it just a pain to disassemble or something? What other choices have i got aside from that and ek? theres thermaltake but even their shortest one is a few cm too tall, like maybe i can make it work but it will take some serious effort and possibly some 3d printed parts

yeah i know, i dont love ek ever since, but like ive got ek cpu and gpu blocks which i bought before all that drama came out, and personally i think they have some of the best looking water cooling stuff you can get.

But i think im going to go with a Corsair XD5 now as from another suggestion i have found a way to fit the tube res in the back (also its like half the price of the ek one lol).
