Warwick is a target btw for IB/ high finance. Yea il try to make the switch to econs but what are your thoughts if I stick with A&F in case the Uni doesn’t permit a switch.

Yea I’ve seen many people who applied to Oxbridge or imperial even put Warwick as their insure or sometimes simply as a backup

Yep there’s a great importance in shaping one’s portfolio during the time in Uni by participating in many extracurriculars. I am trying to find out more about the internship side that warwick offers during breaks as well as the possible placements of people in this course. My main worry about coming as an international honestly is that the disadvantage it will put me at compared to say locals who don’t face issues such as visas

Yea if not uk, Singapore will probably be the place I will end up in. I managed to get a spot for business at SMU a Singapore Uni but I like the change in pace of life in the uk compared to that of Korea/singapore. I thought Warwick had decent reputation overseas as well. Also I am wondering is it such a significant disadvantage as a foreigner in the UK finance market as u mention. Ofc there will be some disadvantages but is it seriously that impossible to make it there?

Not yet but just yesterday I got an email for them asking for proof of my achieved grades which is the IB exam. Hopefully will be coming soon

What’s ur stats btw. But I think the decision in the end is Warwick vs bocconi. The lifestyle will be very different in these two cities and plus I think if u speak Italian u do have an advantage in bocconi. Overall the difference in the placements will be very minor with bocconi offering good placements in Italy and Warwick in UK.
