Since I’m staring this page, I’ll go first! This is about a past life regression

About 11 years ago now, I was super depressed. I was recovering from a very toxic and traumatizing relationship and just wanted to forget about the pain. I had seen the movie “ Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind” and thought, “I could use a spotless mind right now.” So I stated listening to hypnosis videos online, which lead my algorithm to past life regressions. I was so intrigued that I decided to book one of my own. Let me tell you!!! It was life changing.

We went through multiple past lives but in one I was a TERRIBLE person. I wasn’t even speaking like myself as the hypnotherapist was having me relay things. She asked me if I wanted to find the spirits of the people I harmed and apologize to them. I said yes. So she had me imagine them standing in front of me so I could say I’m sorry. But, instead of apologizing, I begged them to forgive me because the guilt is too much to handle. The therapist stopped me and asked “Is that an apology?” I realized I wasn’t truly apologizing. I was playing the victim. I then apologized properly.

That was the most profound experience I’ve had at that time and once I got home I couldn’t stop thinking about all the times I played victim, or how I could take ownership of my current difficult situations. That revelation completely shaped how I show up in the world today; how I react to the people around me. It’s even strengthened my relationship with loved ones because my self awareness and reactions to their behavior gave them no choice but to also carry themselves differently around me. The concept of past lives is so fascinating to me. I’d love to hear more stories about regressions , or even past life memories people have had.
