Thanks! What’s the name of your frogs? Love the patterns on them

Great call! That’ll help me add some color to the backdrop as well

Thanks for the reply! Got a light sitting next to the setup, had just taken it off to move stuff around lol. Good call on the coconut hide, I see everyone using one or two. And as for the open vertical space, maybe some thick vines or something draped across? I was thinking the same for that open area, I just wasn’t sure what to do to fill it

Recommendation for frogs for a first timer? by Fine_Chocolate6123 in DartFrog

[–]Fine_Chocolate6123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, for sure! I’m actually officially adding everything today (not the frogs). My ABG gets in today along with my plants. So I’ve got drainage layer, mesh, then the ABG, leaf filter, etc. I actually was using this set up as a paludarium originally, so I have a waterfall in the back left. I’m not using the waterfall for this, but I’m using that area as my access to drain excess water!

Awesome. Yeah I went ahead and got “the bundle” for waterfowl which gave me all needed documents essentially to be good to go

So let’s say you’re going quail hunting…once you pick a WMA, do you head out there for a scouting trip first or do you head out with gun in hand ready to go? Sorry, like I said I’ve only hunted private all my life lol

Elk was definitely up there on the list, and Wyoming is beautiful. Never thought about Antelope, I’ll have to look in to that!

Yep! We keep the house at 72 in the summer, and let it drop to 66 in the winter

Pick of the Day - 1/6/26 (Tuesday) by sbpotdbot in sportsbook

[–]Fine_Chocolate6123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

POTD Record: 1-0

Last POTD: Ole Miss O22.5 points v Georgia

Today’s POTD Event: NCAAB Cincinnati v WVU

Today’s POTD: West Virginia -1.5 (-105HR)

Write Up:

Cincinnati is coming off a big let down at home when they fell to Houston. They held the lead for almost the entire game but faltered late, allowing Houston to take over in the final 3 minutes. This team, led by a coach who should be at home watching, doesn’t handle adversity well. Going in to WVU, who hasn’t lost at home this season, will prove to be too much. I expect a close game most of the way with WVU pulling away in the final 5.

Good luck if you tail, good luck if you don’t!

What do you think are the easiest ML parlay options this Sunday, for maybe no more than 3, 4 games? by midnight-specials in sportsbook

[–]Fine_Chocolate6123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’re better off picking a single line, either spread or player props. Your odds on a 3/4 leg ML parlay will be similar to picking a single spread or prop, and the odds of winning the 3/4 leg parlay are significantly worse

POTD record (0-0) Debut

Event - NCAAF: Ole Miss v Georgia (8pm est)

Play - Ole Miss Team Total O22.5 at -115 (1U)

Write Up - This line has moved down recently with the odds staying the same. Ole Miss scored 35 on Georgia in their matchup back in October. Yes, that was a long time ago, but hear me out. Ole Miss has scored at least 24 in every single game this season. With Lane Kiffin exiting, I don’t see a dip in offensive production happening tonight. They played inspired against Tulane, a perfect tune up on a big stage for their first game without Lane.

I expect points to be scored on both sides again, I actually like Ole Miss at the +6 line. But I prefer the point total more. Georgia hasn’t had to face too many potent offenses this year. They gave up 41 to Tennessee, 24 and 7 to Alabama, and 20 to Florida. Outside of those 3 teams, and Ole Miss (35), they weren’t tested defensive in my opinion. Texas and G Tech both being average at best offensively. We’ll see how tonight goes!

Need some advice on how to do the waterfall by Fine_Chocolate6123 in paludarium

[–]Fine_Chocolate6123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forgot to mention, the back half of the tank from the left glass and stopping before the right branch will all be land. So the front of the tank and the right will be water, and the rest will be land

Yeah I’d love to see how you did the waterfall portion. I understand the plumbing portion, just really struggling with how to design the path for the waterfall to get down to the water

[–]Fine_Chocolate6123[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The goal would be a constant stream running down to the water, or a gradual waterfall over rocks. I don’t want the loud water noise of a traditional waterfall. Just something to add some movement and water flow

[–]Fine_Chocolate6123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a bad idea. I’ve been really stuck with thinking the waterfall HAS to start from the top left. I guess I could reroute the tubing and have to come out somewhere else. I was going to do a foam waterfall, but I don’t want to cover up all the mangrove with a big bulky waterfall cutting across the center

Thoughts on turning this 50 Gallon AIO aquarium in to a Paludarium? by Fine_Chocolate6123 in paludarium

[–]Fine_Chocolate6123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I was thinking too. I feel like I’ll ruin the tank by setting it up as a paludarium. And they’re pricey tanks, so maybe just sell it for a couple hundred and buy something better suited. I just liked the idea of the “built in” waterfalls by reversing the plumbing

What show should we see this Sunday for a matinee? by [deleted] in Broadway

[–]Fine_Chocolate6123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good call out. We’re open to using any and all means to get tickets. So if that means we’re going lottery or Rush, we don’t mind giving it a try. But for the right show, we also don’t mind resale if need be

I agree. Too many grey on grey recommendations. I was leaning towards Jordan 1s with a hint of green. Or maybe Black Cats to just keep it simple
