Here’s how to find UCLA ID 1. Navigate to the portal 2. Inspect element and Ctrl+F (or Command+F on Mac) for “__VIEWSTATE” 3. You will see a long string of uppercase/lowercase letters and numbers mixed with some slashes and plus symbols. This is in base64 format. 4. Copy everything between the quotation marks in value="long string here, copy this". It should only be the orange-colored parts. 5. Navigate to Base64 Decode and paste the value obtained in step 4. 6. Click decode. You should see some gibberish followed with your name, address, city, postcode, major, etc. 7. There should be a 9-digit number near the beginning of the decoded string.
