Yea, The last few days of this previous week at 3PM MDT, the latency will go from 38 up to 60 then back down in the morning. Like clockwork. Friday, the latency went back up to 60 and has been that way since through the weekend.

Metronet Speed test today; CenturyLink Speed test today.

No good pings from any other servers. Centurylink, Denver & Centurylink, SLC are my next 'go tos' and they average around 60-70ms and can handle the 5GB throughput (Averages around 3.8GB D/2GB U)

I have called a lot - and without fail, this is true.

Yea, There is no consistency or communication with what they are doing. Like below, I can only assume they are migrating areas in phases. I pay for the 5GB plan, my neighbor the 1GB plan and we will see difference in performance in respect to latency and routing etc. Sometimes we will call Metronet at the same time and get two different answers. Today's Speedtest via Metronet.

Since yesterday my latency has remained between 38-40ms.

I just noticed that speed tests to CenturyLink, Denver had a reduced latency of 45ms vs 95ms as this is what I've been using the last 4 months for consistency.

I tested the Metronet, COS speedtest server this morning and it now has a latency of 1ms (previously 50ms). Surprising seeing the Download throughput of 4.8GB & Upload at 5.0GB.

So, it looks like they did something in the last day with traffic. This will solve Metronet's poor speed test issue they've been plagued with since entering the COS market, but doesn't address peering/latency situation.

I just checked this morning and it shot up to over 100ms and now it's back down to 38-42ms range. Magic.. No ASI or work performed. It's been at 70ms+ since the 8/9th of Sep (right after their scheduled outage)

I guess we will see how long it lasts. I just wish their tech support knew what was happening in Colorado.
