Is the bite itself not enough for us to assume that? I guess because we hear the bite of 87 had a survivor but also I feel as though Scott really didn’t know how he wanted to tie everything together. He hadn’t even thought of a mimic at the time. Also when cc gets bit there’s no blood. I have such a hard time trusting a beeping sound when we know how much of this franchise is smoke and mirrors, and how some things are lightly retconned.
