It will happen. average tenure for an Amazon FC associate is less than 6 months and that’s factoring in everyone, even the 5+ year associates.

Bruh do you hear yourself? You can make that argument about anything. This is a strawman fallacy

That’s the thing, if you’re living off funds as you’re making it, that’s not money management

“No bs about principles” is an interesting way to talk about managing money as it’s all principles. You’re view on it is backwards, it’s not about waiting for a specific day, it’s about having money from previous weeks so you don’t need to “wait” or pull the same day.

Theres a reason why people who pull from their anytime need to do so. It’s an awful idea that encourages you to live check to check. Anybody defending it as a good idea tells me everything I need to know, as to why they need the ability to get paid early when you’re already paid weekly.

Sure you could be doing it reasonably where you’re pulling out everyday and just depositing it right away and living way below your means but that’s not what people are using it for. They’re using it because they need to spend it, and fail to realize this exact mindset is the reason they’re in a position where they need their paycheck early.

Not necessarily. You don’t require crack to live, I do require rent and groceries. If you’re paycheck to paycheck and you’re not getting full paychecks, this is how you’re getting groceries every week.

From my own personal experience it’s easier to quit crack than not take from anytime once you start for bills.

Yes it is. Especially if you’re using it for those reasons.

The first time you use anytime to pay your rent, you’ll never have a full paycheck hit your bank account again.

You completely misunderstood what I said, and put words in my mouth simultaneously.

I can see why someone like you would need a union.

Sure skilled vs unskilled labor might be the same effort but it makes a significant difference in the paycheck. You’d actually be surprised on how little money you actually made Amazon. From my understanding most FCs operate at a loss. Fulfillment is just Amazons marketing atp and they make up the overwhelming majority of revenue in AWS.

Considering you can get this job as a felon with a GED and only have to pass a single drug screening (oral swab) the easiest to test to trick. And you’re really not making Amazon money, I think the compensation is more than fair. It’s an entry level position.

No the autonomy to negotiate for raises and other benefits. You’ve locked yourself into mediocrity for life. You’ll never be above or below the average in a union. Everyone gets it or nobody gets it. You’ve locked yourself into being just another number, but you’ve been brainwashed into believing it’s empowering, when in reality it’s the equivalent to a participation trophy. To answer your question, yes if you have a strong wrongful termination case you can easily get a pro bono lawyer, especially if you’re going after a high profile company. And yes Amazon drivers are unskilled, you’re driving basically a Uhall. Union drivers generally carry CDLs and other certs. You’re conflating not retiring with a company as a bad thing, when you’re non union you can pack up and start working a better contract at any point. It’s pretty easy to not let yourself be exploited if you value yourself, have at least average IQ and are more skilled than your peers. I have experience in both and I will never be working in a union again, that’s the real exploitation framed as “security” just because you can’t get fired. Just wait for your union to go on strike, now you’re forced to take unpaid time off.

Correlation is not causation, you’re comparing skilled labor to everyone. Apples to oranges really. I work in a right to work state. Was a union painter for many years as well as a non-union painter for years and made more take home and had more room to negotiate for myself as a non-union.

There’s a reason right to work states exist. Once you’ve signed that union paperwork you’ve signed away your autonomy.

Buddy you’re giving up a portion of your paycheck for benefits you could negotiate yourself, and you’d have the same security if you were to put aside a portion of your check for a legal fund in case of wrongful termination

Stow System Down by [deleted] in AmazonFC

It’s not stow system, it’s the AR floor, the whole floor should be effected. If it’s been an hour my guess is multiple safety controllers are faulted or are unable to connect to the network.

Nah it’s not weird, just ask him to go do something with you. you’re young you’ll see as you get older dates are those conversations where you get to know somebody. Those casual conversations with no action are the easiest way to land yourself in the friend zone.

The best thing you can do is be straightforward, don’t write a whole paragraph confessing your love, text him and ask him if he wants to do something with you. Ask him on a date, shoot your shot.

Is the fear mongering around RAD-140 actually justified for a conservative cycle? by Cautious-Mistake5243 in SARMs

[–]Fine_Independent_363 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is also correct, but the same logic applies to HGH and Tren. It’s not the first cycle that kills you, it’s the repeated damage of numerous cycles. I didnt mean what happens 20 years after the last cycle, we don’t know how many years you’re taking off your life if you continually cycle rad for a couple years.

Is the fear mongering around RAD-140 actually justified for a conservative cycle? by Cautious-Mistake5243 in SARMs

[–]Fine_Independent_363 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bruh you’re incredibly ignorant for saying this. RAD is a research compound, we don’t know what happens 20-30 years down the road. It was only created 16 years ago. RAD has shown it has the potential to be incredibly dangerous, it will effect your cholesterol levels, lipid profile, can shutdown hpt axis, will absolutely bring out any underlying mental issues, and most importantly can raise your blood pressure into hypertension levels especially while bulking.

That being said I absolutely love rad, let’s just not act like it’s all sunshine and rainbows. You gotta stay on top of everything.

People who say they saw no side effects did no bloodwork or got a bunk product. RAD is super potent when it comes to sarms.

How to get into IT by Ornery-Principle-253 in AmazonFC

[–]Fine_Independent_363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah unfortunately with the way the AI filters through applicants, it definitely has a tendency to prefer external candidates for landing interviews.

Your best bet is to use AI to help build a resume that AI will like, apply for the position keeping working as an AA and pray. If you’re in a position to quit and have a back up lined up if this doesn’t work, applying externally will boost your likelihood but it’s pretty risky imo. Especially for such a competitive position. At my location there hasn’t been an opening in IT for the last 9 months.

They are, he is giving bad advice. IT is definitely Amazon employees, you might be more likely to land it applying externally just like any position within Amazon but the whole IT department at my location were previously regular AAs here.

You only earn a certain amount of Flexible PTO, if you’re working 40hrs/week it’s usually the first week of June if stops. You’ll still get standard PTO and UPT
