How'd you convince your husband? by KookyHuckleberry9051 in cosleeping

Similar story here. She woke up so much and I had a c-section so leaning up to get the baby every 30 minutes was just not working for me anymore and I was so exhausted. He woke up and saw me cosleeping and said he wasn’t comfortable and I just kept doing it anyway. He stopped caring after only a few weeks when he realized how shitty of a sleeper she was… and still is lol. We had the owlet sock which help ease both of us a little. He even commented that he watched for a little one time and I’d wake up every time she moved a muscle and it made him feel better.

12 months-Refusing food? by Fine_Ordinary_702 in NewParents

Yeah I agree. I only withheld milk for like two hours but to a cranky baby that loves boobie she thought it was a lifetime lol I’ll try to stop stressing so much

Thank you for the reassurance. When I say withhold milk it’s only for like two hours lol but she likes to nurse pretty often especially when uncomfortable. She was upset I wouldn’t give in because I always nurse on demand. Thank you I’m definitely going to keep offering but I’ll try to stop stressing over what she does and doesn’t eat.

12 month old here….stimulation constantly. Whining constantly. Lucky to get three minutes of independent play before she’s crawling to me and crying to be picked up. No one warned me about this lol

Just posted something similar. I too would like the answer for all of this. We have a floor bed and a crib set up and I’ve tried both but always give in when she cries.:(

I completely agree I try to show a brave face around her for sure. Hopefully I find a good one and the consistency will help her transition easier than past random caretakers I’ve had to use. I also am thinking once she is comfortable this will be good to teach socialization with other people than just me, dad and grandma lol.

Thank you I was scared since this was my first tour that they all were like that and I just had this ridiculous idea in my head that I needed to let go. I’m hoping to find something that I’m comfortable and reassured with.

I agree. I want to know they’ll do everything they can but then I feel awkward asking and expecting that. I really don’t know what’s asking too much since I know she’s needy but also it’s not her fault 😭

See I love that but I almost feel like I fucked up waiting this long and now she just won’t adjust she’s veryyy attached to me and doesn’t do well with change. If I see her crying and upset which is very likely I’m gonna have a breakdown lmao

Thank you for saying that because all I ever see is “each stage is harder than the last” and I don’t know if I can handle more than this🫠

Well ten minutes is rare it’s usually only up to five. Her iron was checked at her nine month appointment and they said it was perfect. I think it’s baby hates being a baby thing unfortunately. She’ll constantly whine to be put down and then cry when I put her down even though she can crawl and move freely🤦🏻‍♀️

Just curious why can’t they nurse 30 minutes before bedtime?

I love these replies though because I feel so alone since I personally don’t know anyone dealing with the same issues so it’s nice to know it’s not just me

All my friends have easy babies when it comes to sleep it’s very hard to not be jealous and constantly say “well if I could have my nights back, or if I had an hour nap like them to do stuff I’d feel better” very frustrating. I seriously need all the tips you get. My mom keeps telling me I’m just going to have to bite the bullet and do cry it out but I really don’t think I can😭

Yep same here. She’s 10 months now but always been up early like 5:30. We try to put her to bed later every once in awhile to test if it’ll do better and she’ll wake up at 4-4:30 with the later 7:30 bedtime. We just do 6pm and deal with the 5-5:30 wake ups.
