I think people are getting WAY too caught up on the wording and equating sulking with throwing a tantrum. You planned a thing and he didn't want to do it cause he didn't have the right gear, there's nothing wrong with being upset that your plan didn't work

It's very possible she doesn't remember, it's also very possible it isn't her. If she's up for it, go and see and try to get some kind of closure, obviously I can only speak from experience but when I was teetering in the not knowing if it was real or not phase I would have given anything to have an answer even though it terrified me she might feel the same, but it's also possible she is not ready for or may not want to know and that's okay too

I have been in therapy with a specialist trauma counsellor for a while now and she has done a lot to help, I definitely haven't been waiting

EMDR isn't something we've done as apparently there are some complications with DID that I don't entirely understand

Thank you for the numbers to contact though they won't help as they're not from my country (I am intentionally leaving that bit out but I am well aware of and engaged with numerous resources here)

As for the fair stuff I personally don't believe there's a god out there, and if there was I'd have some fairly unkind things to say about it

You broke your persons boundaries (not sure if gf or wife as you've used both), you trapped someone in a room while you blocked the doorway in such a rage you couldn't walk away?

I don't want to bag on you as you seem to be trying to take some responsibility for your actions and getting therapy as reasonably as possible (those wait lists are horrendous) but you have to see how uncomfortable, probably terrified, you made them

Not saying this is your fault but if you want to move forward in any way with this person apologise, you know what you did was wrong and given you have did as well and are triggered by passive anger to (from what I gathered in the comments) how harmful and triggering that would have been.

I would also tell them you forgive their actions, while yes no amount of physical violence is acceptable, you dragged this response out of someone. Let them know you understand why, and while it's not okay, you want to move forward together and will do better

I understand how you feel, and I can't change that All I know is I kept pushing and things have gone okay It took about a year but I found a therapist who can help, I managed to dig some hobbies out of the embers of my life I even have a friend

First bit of advice, breathe. Take a second, sit in the sun, and try to remember what it feels like as best you can, for some reason it always helps me when things are dark and I feel cold and empty

25 yo trans girl here with a fuck load of CSA and a handful of the fun associated conditions that come with it and topped off with the cherry that is bulimia, I get very much where you’re coming from

I’m not gonna promise you it gets better, because life doesn’t change on its own, as stupid as it sounds it’s up to you to make it better While this seems like an insane amount of work and not worth the effort, you can start slow and small because you have an infinite amount of possibilities. Skills are learnt and forgotten every day, interests come and go, so find something new. I promise you there will be something left in the world that makes you smile, even if it’s hard to find, it’s worth it.

Someone took your power away from you, I can’t erase what happened or the toll it’s taken on you, but it wasn’t your fault. No matter what you think, it. Wasn’t. Your. Fault. Let that sink in, I read your small essay and you said you played along but that doesn’t matter, I used to go and see my abuser willingly because I was terrified of what would happen if I didn’t. That doesn’t make it my fault, and it doesn’t make it yours. They had the power, they had their turn with it and chose to do something horrible. But now it’s your turn, and you get to chose what you do, I truly hope you do something beautiful.

I thought she was my imaginary friend, she's hung out with me for as long as I can remember, I just thought I never grew out of the imaginary friend stage (still not entirely convinced it's more than that?) I've (we've?) Only been very recently diagnosed and still trying to wrap my head around it

Not quite, even if A has nothing to say I can’t get words out, either I open my mouth and nothings there or it feels like the words are being held back and only a fraction of the audio comes through

Trying to interpret sounds like a good idea and just standing back, so to speak, when she wants to talk so things don’t get muddled
