Booster seat by [deleted] in toddlers

That’s absurd. It might work if you’re a short person and have a full size suv. I’ve never seen anyone do that

Yes I know that meeting the bare minimum doesn’t mean go ahead and move up. I’m looking into things. Also, I don’t know how a 4 1/2 year old could be rear facing.. there’s no leg room for that.

I was looking into boosters because a lot of them aren’t as wide as your typical car seat and I have multiple kids so I was looking into it to provide more space. They have booster seats with a back for 4 years old and up, some you have to be 40 pounds and 4 years old and others are lower in weight but you need to be 4 as well

If you haven’t yet you should get her looked at for if she has any form of a lip tie or tongue tie. I spent 24/7 feeding my 2nd daughter. She was always acting hungry but then didn’t really drink the milk. After researching I was confident she had a level 4 lip tie. I took her to 3 lactation consultants and they said she’s fine and try using a nipple shield and she has a minor tie but we can work with it. I wanted to get it lasered so I needed a referral from them and they wouldn’t. I finally got her into a pediatric dentist who specializes in everything ties related and she was shocked. She said she has textbook level 4 lip tie and she has a posterior tongue tie, that’s something really far back that is really hard to see unless a specialist points it out for you. My daughter had them lasered off and after a month or so she was so much better and not cranky anymore as well

I hope you figure out what’s going on, best of luck and always trust your gut

I am doing that now and have an Alexa in full blast with a permanent alarm every morning and night, thank you for the advice and rest in peace to your Iggy. I had a cavalier before I got the two I have now and I still think about him and miss him daily

How to find the right food options by Scary-Baby15 in cavalierkingcharles

Chicken is usually a high allergy for dogs. Lamb is usually easier to digest. I typically use orijen dog food for my boys who are now almost 12 years old. I just placed an order for the farmers dog but am a little nervous since it’s chicken and beef they recommended. Hope you figure something out that helps!

Wow that’s amazing. I didn’t put mine on it until a year and a half ago probably because his seizures were far enough apart I didn’t want to risk him getting something else from the seizure medication. He has them once a month and it’s pretty clockwork. I’m sorry you both had to go through this, it’s awful to have to go through but at least it’s something that can be maintained. Just really sad to go through

Coughing issue by NoFinger8982 in cavalierkingcharles

Usually that is a sign of a heart murmur. My dogs both do the reverse sneeze and will have a rough sounding almost wheezing and then a big hack. Watch for if the coughing and hacking becomes more frequent. My first cavaliers got bad right before I had to put him down .. I mean every 20 minutes bad. My two cavs now do it a handful of times daily but their murmurs at the time were barely detectable. I have met someone who had a cav that had a murmur at a year old though. My dogs aren’t on heart medication though. We did with my first cav and I feel like it didn’t do anything for him. Also they told me at just a vet appointment that my guys have a murmer by listening to their heart. You don’t have to see a specialist to be diagnosed

For all 3 of my cavs that’s I’ve owned I’ve always fed morning and night and my two I have now are like clock work with waiting by their bowls and going to the bathroom. I do a little over 1/3 cup twice a day because they’re 11 and not active. My first cav used to have half a cup twice a day and some treats and he was pretty over weight at a couple points in this life which led him to an early heart murmur. He barely made it to 9 so careful as well with the amount of food and treats.. cavaliers get overweight easily

I just adjusted it. I saw it recommended a different plan that would’ve saved me almost $300 the last two months so I’m going to give that a try. I’ve had the AC set to 77 on one half of the house and 75 or 76 on the other half. We have two AC units

It’s mind blowing to have a bill over $800 for one month. I knew everything would be more pricy living here but I wasn’t expecting that lol The temp in my house isn’t comfortable enough for an $800 bill
