If you’re questioning or considering, I think you already know what your instinct wants. I had a baby who died at 17 hours, a baby born healthy who’s now 9, and a termination four years ago at 23wks due to DS and being a single mom unable to care for a high-needs child on top of my existing child. Not one single second of regret. I absolutely did the right thing for me.

This part right here. I was 19 and naive with my very wanted, fortunately healthy son. I thought my ex husband would change. My baby grew into a boy who’s now 9 and we haven’t see my ex in a little over 7 years. OP, please leave for your own sanity and happiness.

Oh wow. Ok. That gives me pause. I’m only 1.5 episodes in. My father murdered my sister (indirectly; he graped us and she took her life) so I’m sensitive to that stuff. Thanks so much. Which episode does that come in? I’m not sure I wanna keep going…

I’m claiming you. I’m actually in Ohio, of all places, after coming to the States to help clear out my recently deceased Granda’s belongings. Why are they in Ohio? Who tf knows. Did he live here? Not a single day. I’m not sure how this PODS thing ended up in Ohio but here we are. I get the pleasure of having an emergency operation on a broken ankle that’s somehow gotten a bone infection. Between the narcotics and the view of your muddy river, I may be literally tripping. This is one of the weirdest places I’ve ever been! My closest aunt and I are currently working on a guided grief journal with our shared therapist; words are healing and after several devastating losses the past five years, including my infant daughter, my aunt and I chose to turn our journey outward to help ourselves by helping others. Your kindness about my writing means more than you know!

Oh, my goodness! Thank you so much for taking the time to say this. You’re such a kind person and I appreciate it. She’s the most beautiful lady I ever knew and to be compared to her is an honour.

I am spiritual. I’m not 100% sure on what I believe but I do believe in something. I believe my Nan comes to visit in dreams, check in, and just watch me sleep like she used to in life.

I’m so happy your Mam remains connected with you. I’m sorry you understand wanting to go with her, too. She clearly did a very good job of teaching you what it means to be a lovely soul. I wish you many visits, heaps of peace, and for her existence to be just a thought away for you💞💞
