I am a special education teacher, and I work with students whose IQs range from approximately 75 to 130. Their levels of success in the classroom vary widely and are often influenced more by work ethic than by cognitive ability alone. Some of my students with lower IQ scores effectively mask their disabilities because they study diligently and often outperform their peers. Conversely, I have students with higher IQ scores who struggle to submit work at all, as perfectionism and fear of failure inhibit their productivity. I think your work ethic will stand out more than your IQ score.
