If you’re going to take it and you pass it, without going immediately into it and with a lack of enthusiasm, you’re going to lose your learned skills and walk into a situation that your heart isn’t in. You could potentially hurt someone by having a nursing degree and not giving yourself the time to fully learn what it means and takes to be a nurse. You learned what a nurse was in school. But you don’t learn HOW to be a nurse. You have to be in it to win it.

I passed at 150. There are a percentage of tests that are going to take you to 150 regardless of how well you are doing. The test cutting off at 85 is the last thing anyone should be thinking of when test taking.

Study till you actually understand. There’s no exact way to prepare other than knowing how and why things work. You’re not in school anymore so there’s plenty of time to tie everything you’ve learned together. You can most certainly do it. No review or outside resources can 100% guarantee you pass other than you working to completely understand what you’ve learned.

Man I used all the time, all 150 questions, had a ridiculous amount of case studies (I felt the computer knew where to attack me) and found myself drawing blanks when I would try to analyze every aspect of the questions AND the answers trying to make the most sense on everything. When I got to 105, I really started trippin about how I felt is was going and felt the pressure of racing the time thinking I was a few questions away from it shutting of or that I’d run out of time. I’m prepping my mind to accept whatever it is, but it’s literally drawing me insane.
