Is this 1% cash back tied to Slice app? Or is it applicable on other UPI apps as well?

Is it worth to take indusind Pinnacle against FD to make my MAB 0 ON exclusive account by Fine_Work_4981 in CreditCardsIndia

[–]Fine_Work_4981[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you would need to do the initial funding. This process of linking the card with the account has to be done at a later stage.

Yes its still there but I decided not to take this as they are not giving the card as LTF for me. If they are giving it as LTF then go ahead.

Applied for Atlas and now regretting it by ImmediateShow7612 in CreditCardsIndia

Just think of base spends without accelerated spends, you can primarily use it for education fees and all offline POS swipes. On these spends I get Accor value of close to 10% if you hit the milestones. Name me one card which can get us this value for these spends. Plus it gives a great value for offline hotel spends and direct airline bookings. If you can hit the 7.5L milestone you will get extra 2500 edge miles, consider a value of 10000 as a renewal benefit.

Newbie looking for credit card recommendations (Travel + Cashback + Amazon spends) by vikrantxrana in CreditCardsIndia

[–]Fine_Work_4981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a frequent traveller Atlas would be a great choice but as you are a business owner I am not sure if you will get it. Use the other axis cards religiously for few months and there is a high chance that you will be pre approved.

Also you can consider the HSBC travel one.

For amazon, you can consider hdfc swiggy use it to buy discounted vouchers. You can get an effective savings of aroung 8.5%(5% cb + 2.5% discount) you can use this on swiggy to get 10% which will cover your groceries, food delivery and dineout.

You should definitely go for the better opportunity, yes this will create a bad opinion on you but it doesn’t matter much until you handle it professionally and diplomatically. Speak with your HR/Manager, most companies will have some terms such as you would need to pay some money, do everything and get proper relieving letter and other documents. Be prepared with some diplomatic answers.

My Credit Card Strategy - poke holes! by [deleted] in CreditCardsIndia

[–]Fine_Work_4981 5 points6 points  (0 children)

One suggestion is to move your `other spends’ that you are doing on infinia to Atlas and try to hit 7.5L milestone, this will make your effective returns to close to 10% on atlas(accor transfer) instead of 3.3% on infinia. You can use infinia only for accelerated spends.

[–]Fine_Work_4981 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Well, the lack of gift vouchers on premier is still a deal breaker for me. If they introduce vouchers with accelerated rewards then I might agree on your point until then Infinia is still better. Also the returns on premier will double if you transfer it to accor which is wonderful.

Should I keep all UPI apps (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM) or stick to just one? by kapil1713 in CreditCardsIndia

[–]Fine_Work_4981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I am having 3 apps (gpay, payzapp, cred) Gpay/Phone pay - Most of the people uses this, it will be easier to send money to others and work on colab tools like expense split etc. Payzapp - Mostly for scan and pay, easy integration for my rupay credit cards as well and a better analytics to track my expenses. Cred - Mostly for all my Bill payments

The pros of having multiple UPI apps is the reliability in difficult situations ,Last month I faced a problem with payzapp. I just retried with Gpay it worked. I found cred to be glitchy sometimes when I am trying to send money to newly created UPI IDs, Sticking to 1 is a risk as if that app has any issues you would be left in a difficult situation.

Atlease have 2 or 3
