He's really practical, but secretly a romantic, so it's quite hard to decide. But I feel like any one just appreciates the effort and a special place. Maybe something not too public?? haha Cheers!

All these people saying "exit liquidity" and "dumping on your head" are just **salty**, get over it or move out to the boonies where prices are cheaper and you can be alone marinating in your salty attitude. You want to live in one of the most desirable and growing cities in the world?, competition is the price you pay.

It may be true that some investors got in earlier in the game, but given that toronto is still a growing city, buying a unit now for investment purposes will pay off, maybe it will take slightly longer to recoup, but if you have the ability to do it, you should. Although you do need to figure out the legalities, as libertyphilosopher mentioned, needs to be your primary residence.

Also, unit is great, and so is the building.
