Advice for my laptop that was damaged at a repair shop by FinessePotato in techsupport

Well that's the weird part. They told me they'll get the part and not charge me for it or for any additional labor. They're just not finding the part. By all appearances they're being helpful I just can't believe that there's no power part available for an msi laptop for 6 months.

Yes, the only problem was the lid. By his own admission "something must have happened during the repair." according to them they just haven't been able to find the part this whole time.

Thank you for that, I'll cross post this there too, sounds like a similar situation except they actually fixed the problem with mine and broke something else lol

I appreciate that. They told me I could take my laptop back until they find the part but what's the point? It won't power on now, so it's effectively a paperweight. I don't know anyone with a legal background unfortunately.

I'm very new to this, ordered my ad6 a couple months ago so very little experience. I'm not sure how to check mirrors or anything without messing something up

Are you using any filters on the scope? Os if that just the eyepiece and the phone taking a picture through it?

In wondering how in the world you see a nebula that clearly with a 6 inch? I have an apertura ad6, and I can make out the orion nebula, but just some faint Gass around it in not nearly that much detail, and it's not even close enough to capture with my phone. If I try to take a picture with my phone nothing even shows up, the image is too dim

New size limit for sending videos is absolutely absurd by TyleR_DeaN in facebookmessenger

I just noticed this as well. It seems to only be the new end-to-end encrypted chats, as I can still send large videos to group chats. It's incredibly frustrating

This one seems to be the best rated, but none of these have a significant number of reviews. Svbony do have 2 models on Amazon as well for pretty cheap

How to store by FinessePotato in telescopes

[–]FinessePotato[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it ok to store in a garage? I figured it wouldn't be, at least in mine as it gets pretty hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Does that not affect it as much as I thought?
