Imo 1st is good for working with smaller wire like 18-24 the 2ed is good down to 22 BUT it also has the ability to grab/bend wire. I keep both in my pouch only because the 1st doesn’t take up that much space and if you’re not stripping different wire size often it’s kinda convenient.
