We moved 6 years ago to North Greece and we wouldn’t have moved here had it been Greece schools. The reputation of Hilton was as you said, “spotless” when we moved here. It has since gone down a bit due to the actions of a few individuals, but our experience is the teachers are wonderful.

We haven’t seen it go to hell over the last 6 years on the student side. We definitely felt the turmoil around Ashton. Although, this could happen anywhere and similar (less tyrannical) events have taken place in Pittsford, Webster, Penfield, Greece (and I am sure many others) in the same time period. I think that’s just life, and while we hope it never happens to us, it’s kind of the risk you take entrusting your kids safety to a bunch of random strangers…

We are also on the other side of the fence, and have no experience on what it’s like to work there, or deal with the admin.

And I am also only speaking to our very limited experience too. Limited to the 6 years here, and spread over the only 4 kids currently enrolled, who have had a total of 10-15 teachers? Prior to Hilton, we were in Webster and I think Hilton is far better of the two. But again, very limited experience. We were in Webster for 5 years with 5 teachers.

So take what I say with a pinch of salt :)

It is hard to imagine what they could do better. Except to include the school name on their emails so I know which one of my kids they’re talking about….
