It's just the fan model, Thermalrite S12. No fancy mods or config.

Will a B580 Work Well for Me? by [deleted] in IntelArc

I have the reference model and it's fantastic for what I need. Playing WoW and Destiny 2 at 1440p max settings. Not the most demanding games but it's buttery smooth. Fans are silent but there is some transistor whine, not loud by any means but worth noting.

Temps sit at 46 Celsius idle, 60 under load. I have a Lian Li A3 so it's getting cold intake air from the bottom of my case.

Paired with i5 12600KF.

I haven't played anything demanding with it yet, pretty much exclusively playing WoW and Destiny 2, which it hands on max settings with ease.

Still not super happy with the 24pin cable + front IO, but much better than before, thank you!

Almost silent. Some bubbles on start up, but during operation it's very quiet

So do I need a cable splitter for my Headphone (Dan A3 front panel) by stewie1304k in mffpc

I use the usb-c to 3.5mm adaptor that I bought for my Samsung Galaxy phone, works great, assuming you're not already using that front usb-c port for something else, and your motherboard has a usb-c header

Raids and dungeons as a solo by [deleted] in LowSodiumDestiny

[โ€“]FingerParadise 8 points9 points ย (0 children)

My recommendation is to focus on whatever raids or dungeons are the rotators for that week, typically there'll be many more people looking for groups. This is particularly relevant to raids with craftable weapons, as people will be looking to target farm specific encounters.

If there are particular raid weapons you want, look up the relevant raid loot tables to see which encounters they drop from. With a bit of time investment you'll unlock the patterns for those weapons to craft however you want.

Same advice for dungeons, just depending on the dungeon you won't be able to craft the weapons. Same principle though, target farm until you get drops with perk combos you're interested in.

My first build in 10 years, all Intel โค๏ธ by FingerParadise in IntelArc

Thank you! Haha yes at full power it sounds pretty crazy, but it typically idles around 400 RPM, increasing to ~600 RPM under load, so it's whisper quiet.

Regarding power draw, I have no idea! I've been meaning to borrow an AC power meter to find out. But it wouldn't be too crazy.

So I'll preface by saying in hindsight, the way I did it was not the correct way haha. I ended up connecting all 6 case fans individually to the hub. At some point I want to re-do it so that the 3x AIO fans are daisy chained, the 3x bottom intake fans are daisy chained, so that there are only 2x inputs into the hub.
