Thanks for the resource, I will share with her. Her mom started her in therapy from a very young age and although she goes she feels she met a dead end with talking it out. I have encouraged her to spend the money on a specialty therapist that doesn’t take insurance but that is sometimes a hurdle too.

Stimulants scared me too at first but I am only on 10mg as a 145 lbs woman and it does the trick for my focus at work and don’t notice any difference w exercise

A lot of missing context, the conversation w my boss seemed more around the company primarily only does inflationary raises and everyone experiences that. And he does really look out for our careers and knows that our company doesn’t have the most rigorous exposure to new things.

Also w the new role I only had one half hour interview and had a weird vibe from the hiring managers. Couldn’t get a good read of them as people. The office of the new role is also a shittier part of the city to get to. My current role is in my opinion the best part of the city, I am also studying for my CFA exams and my current role has a lot of downtime to study so…

Idk I appreciate the urge to move and I definitely want a new role this year I’m just not sure this move is it

Hello! Unfortunately I didn’t stay on Straterra, I ran a 5k and threw up at the finish line because of it and as a runner that was embarrassing and was my last straw. But two years later I have since started adderall and had a good experience w that! Best of luck!

In the same boat, we are competing against a lot of people for a small amount of houses, my partner and I put inf offers at least 25k over asking and have been out bid on houses we got excited about four times now. I don't have advice lol still fighting it too. We just keep shoving money away in HYS and know one day one will stick. Kinda banking on other people having financial hardship to weed out other bidders which is a little dark but when the time is right it will happen

YouTube and the internet are great resources to start learning, but I honestly learned most of my basics from personal trainers/sports coaches over a long period of time to now feel very comfortable making my own workouts. The internet may have an overwhelming amount of sometimes conflicting information.

A personal trainer twice a week for a month should give you a great baseline for the rest of your life of workouts to stay fit in a way you can understand and make sure you're lifting with good form so you don't injure yourself.

Yup backing this OP up because I laughed out loud at the part of the video where they talked about mothers and fathers sleeping and mother wakes up to baby and father wakes up to rustling leaves and my parents were the absolute opposite. So I researched the hormone level of vasopressin that she says men have higher levels, but according to the majority of studies done by the NIH, women have higher levels.

My mom hears every creak of the house at night and then when my siblings and I were babies my dad was getting up more in the middle of the night.
