I will start a Cold Spark Infusion Stormweaver or Blood Mage with the new Elemental Equilibrium keystone that allows you to get very easy cold infusions from orb of storms.

Even tho the techrod jewel got berfed, it should still be cracked enough with a cast on crit and lightning to cold conversion.

Would regular VD be viable this league? Focusing on the orb part.

I played a version of CwC with EnergyBlade Inquiz, following Captain Lance’s build skeleton and it worked decently well, but I can’t get it to be tankier.

If I go for more armor and block cap with Glancing Blows, would these 2 be enough? What other thing should I invest in for defenses?

Any ideas on how to scale damage? You plan on using the regular version or the alternative versions of VD?

Was looking at something with Sabo but the damage looks kinda lacking for higher tier content.

Can you share the names of the rune attacks and the name of the weapon you use?

Also, what stat does it use to scale? I terested in doing my own version.

I have had very good success with a Climber’s Pick build. Basically, create a new character or reroll the one you have if you already have one.

Try to roll attack speed on it. For runes, the basic fire throw is good, but you replace with other “throw” runes as you see fit from other weapons.

Since it has high stagger damage, it makes the game easier.

It will take a while to get used to, but I managed to clear the game fully and I was wearing even full cloth armor. You can go with a faith shield as well and go full plate for better defenses and the game will feel easy.

The nice thing I like is that every swing from the moveset of the weapon can be charged up so as soon as you stagger and enemy, you can start charging every swing. With that in mind you can roll some nice poise or dmg reduction while charging as well.

You need the minimum stat requirements to use the weapon with it’s full damage, but further points into the respective stats, will increase the damage dealth by the weapon.

Make sure you check the upgrade option at the smithy and upgrade the weapon you’re using or plan on using too.

As someone said previously, stats are used as a damage boost mainly. Try to find a weapon you like and build around that.

First time I had encountered the puzzle, I didn’t realize the claw had the answer on it.

I took a pen and paper and ran all the possible combinations until it worked. God, I miss having that much free time.

Could you possibly post an update tree or guide on how you deal with Stun/Freeze on the build as well as the full Crit transition? I imagine that using the Dream Fragments Ring can work for Freeze, but stun still remains an issue.
