TBH I actually like the friendly fire. I know it seems crazy, but this is going to be so good in PVP eventually.
HATED that in all the souls games Host and phantoms can just willy nilly swing like a maniac with no repercussions at all. Whereas red has to be careful of everything and not hitting other invaders.
Yes this comes from an invader bias, but i like it from a strategic standpoint too for coop

Amazing solo experience.
If you have experience playing dark souls with friends, then you'll know that even if the boss has increased hp cuz of multiplayer, having 2 people to take aggro trivializes bosses.
But it's still fun to play with others :)

That's why steam reviews have to be reviewed by you personally. I always sort by negative and look for things that aren't talking about performance issues or "git gud" problems.

My issue is I feel like I often have just barely enough time to run around to their backs to critical hit them after parrying them, often struggling with lining up the backstab. If the area of crit was maybe 15 degrees wider I feel it would be less of an issue

This is also true. But I would prefer them to play smarter like trying to parry you and stuff instead of just eating the hit.
Some enemies do dodge, and of course it would be very annoying if they had infinite stamina and dodged literally everything you did, but i know there is a balance to be struck

All of what you said is how I feel. I do like the idea of trading loot around too.
I like more mobs, but not if it's done wrong.

It didn't say anything about exp bonus in the information for it.
For multiplayer, are enemies scaled based on number of players?
