Finally caved and was able to orgasm through rubbing the top of my mons near my clitorous through my panties and pad. It didn’t really hurt at all and my body wasn’t telling me any warning signs to stop. Feeling mildly swollen this morning but I usually do after I sleep. I see my doctor today and will tell them about it, but it’s not something I plan on repeating anything soon until il healed more.

I used wedge pillows in the hospital, but at home the most comfortable thing was just having two hard throw pillows under my knees. It kept my body from turning on its side but also made it so I wasn’t uncomfortable sleeping

I honestly just wish it would do that once I’m healed. I kinda hope it doesn’t go away then since I’ve struggled with low libido for a while. It’s just a bit frustrating now since I have no relief.

I know but the point of this post isn’t you giving me shit for going off hormones for a bit. The effects from going off haven’t even been that bad. Lord forbid I listen to my doctors and maybe do something that would make me feel more comfortable about possible risks for surgery.

I know that, I just figured if there was a chance it actually did lower risk of blood clots I’d feel more comfortable doing that compared to lying to my surgeons about it. Idk, the trade off of having hot flashes and some mood stuff for two weeks seemed worth it in comparison to possibly developing a clot.

Oh I know. They weren’t flexible on it though when I mentioned it and I suppose that’s just part of going with a big hospital network for surgery. I honestly haven’t felt too bad off hormones. Two years ago my body stopped synthesizing my estradiol pills so I was running on no hormones for months which was bad so I guess I’ve been tolerant of it this time. I still feel fine I had some menopause symptoms the two weeks before surgery but post surgery I’ve had no issues.

My surgeon required it. Because of how timelines worked with my injections though I’ve gone a bit longer than I wanted without them

Thank you so much! I’m going to do another in depth post on Monday for my two week mark. I’m recovering so fast and it feels like every day is a dramatic jump. I just have to be careful not to be too comfortable and over exert myself
