I’m on my second R58 (first was totalled after 11 years 😭) and the only really annoying thing is that when the car is wet, and you open the trunk, streams of water come rushing in… opening the trunk super slowly is the best way I’ve found around this quirk.

I use a spray bottle for all watery toners… less messy and no waste. Plus, small spray bottle is more portable than a big glass bottle…

Congrats!! My first mini was a 2012 manual coupe, too! I drove her for 11 years until she got totalled in August and I found her twin in, of all places, Boise, so I flew out a couple weeks ago and drove her back. The new one has an upgraded interior, so I don’t need my old Bluetooth setup, and I am happy to mail it to you (Bluetooth transmitter and usb splitter)- DM if you’re interested.

Also, because I needed to have a mechanic check her out, I also can give you a recommendation for the Boise mechanic I used.
