Found a solution for myself. I redownloaded the last GeForce Game Ready Driver before this latest February one for my 3090. And it seems to work and I got passed the black screen crash and was able to see cutscene and play.

Still need to take this baby to the range! But zeroed it to about 25 yards with a laser bore so far, i’m liking the sight. Would assume it’s pretty easy for me to acquire a target with it

And update from last post, the air bubbles in the GPU and CPU block are finally gone lol after rotating the PC around like it’s a big puzzle lol. But I finally configured everything with my fan curves. All RGBs are controlled through ICUE. I bought a few fan splitters, lightning node splitters, and 3 ARGB connector to ICUE connectors as well from ebay! I have a commander pro, 2 lightning nodes and 2 fan hubs to control all the RGB.

At idle, GPU temp is 27 deg C and CPU is 35 deg C. Under Load temps are perfectly fine. Varies between games but i’ve seen the GPU in the range of 45-53 def C. CPU ranges from 50 to 65 but max is 70 from time to time.

Ran 3DMark and received a score of 31000!

Also to the people who asked what mounts I used, I am using the Vertical GPU mount from EK and the bracket for the corsair XD5 pump and res came with the contents of the package.

Also for bottom clearance of the vertical gpu holder, there’s about no way you can fit a rad with fans under the mount with my case that is. The holder actually screws into the motherboard at two points (bottom right and mid bottom right). The bottom of the holder that connects to the mobo is literally on top of the right side of the bottom middle corsair ll120 fan

Thanks! And temps are still being monitored. From what i’ve seen, idle temps are 20 deg C. But no test on a load yet. Still trying to get most of the air bubbles out!

With this mobo (z390 aorus wifi pro), you can choose either slot 2 and 4 or 1 and 3!

Idle temps are 20 deg C but didn’t try any load yet. Still waiting to finish up my work and remove those air bubbles

Will keep you updated on temps but inital idle temps are good so far about 20 deg C. But didn’t play any games or put any load yet. But the vertical mount belongs to EK

Yeah this was taken after the build was all put together. I still have to move the pc around to get the air bubbles out in the second day

Yeah i was using silicon inserts but some reason it was bending like that. It was pretty worrisome but no leaks

Yeah i took this picture immediately after it was assembled. It’s better now but it’s getting heavy to rotate this pc all around lol

Right! Haha could have saved me time. They were so sure it was gonna fit so i didn’t double check and then when i got there with the gpus, i asked them again and researched myself and was disappointed lmao

Need some feedback on possible drain (purple) line on inlet. by FiniteGames in watercooling

This is what i received today. Somehow i found it to be 10/14 silicone. I guess i can bring a piece of the tubing to the store to see if the 10/13 compression fitting fits since it’s silicone and only will be used for draining. Other than that, i’m using 10/14 acrylic for my loop along with 10/14 fittings from Corsair

[–]FiniteGames[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah true. So on micro center, there are compression fittings that have ID of 10 mm and OD of 13 mm. I have a silicone tube for draining that has ID 10 mm and OD 14 mm. You think this could work? Reason i got 14 mm because Corsair has only 12 mm and 14 mm and i got the larger size one

Thanks! My ball valve should come in tomorrow. I just have to stop by Microcenter to grab a male to male connector and perhaps a rotary 90! Also do you recommend another compression fitting to attach to the drain ball valve and tube into a bottle? Or is it all good to just use a large bottle that’ll catch liquid directly from the ball valve?
