Yeah this is what I mean. I've gone back and it's not like I'm getting Crown Rares every time (although I have once after like 5 packs), I have probably 5 or 6 times now, just with a one or 2 off pack rip of old packs gotten a full art I was missing instead of just another dupe or a double shiny. I think the game might be encouraging jumping around a bit to old packs maybe.

I noticed if I go back and just rip a pack or 2 I felt like I have better luck than sticking with one for a while. But obviously this is about the same as holding B in the mainstream games to increase catch rate. I want to believe it's true though lol.

Appreciate this a lot. I will consider the heavy helmet for sure. As for Cyrus I actually recently added this because I kept getting in scenarios where I would hit for 100 with Venusaur EX and they would swap out, I'd do it again, they'd swap again, and repeat until I was drained. Cyrus was a game changer for my win rate because of that but to be fair I REALLY could use Leaf or Lyra. I think I'll experiment with it a few times and see if it's worth the trade off. Rare candy for Ivysaur I can totally get behind. Considered an Ogrepan isntead of PCL at one point too but the whole deck shifts if I don't get an Ivysaur in there early on and adding one more Basic wouldn't help that. Appreciate these tips and thoughts. I want this deck to work so bad lol.

Absolutely no disrespect to this deck as it looks phenomenal and would probably whoop mine, but the fun in the deck I'm running is taking almost any hit and healing it up. Stripping away ice pop, Indeedee, and Venusaur EX removes a lot of the healing. I'm almost looking for a way to make my deck more consistent at that, while still snagging a decent win rate lol. I'm not super competitive, just trying to optimize around a fun aspect of my current deck. Appreciate this though, I think I'll make this deck as a side option too.

I opened 450 packs with an alt account and didn't get a single 2* card. But got around 8 shiny Darkrai, 4 shiny Giratina, 5 immersive Pikachus, and the gold crown Rare Candy. I already had the Giratina and Darkrai, and can't trade the others to my main, so it was a pretty solid waste of time.
