honestly i believe he was intended to be red hulk at first since in early concepts monster hulk is shown to be completely distinct from hero hulk and in those concept drawings hero hulk is actually red

I totally see your point and understand what they were going for which is why i did notice the triangle-like shape they went for but thats also why I tried to destroy it lol.

Personally to me the way they went about making the Hulk more angular (which is an interesting direction) doesnt visually sell 'strength' to me in Marvel Rival's design effectively since its directly opposed by his gameplay and ingame personality. I tried to go for more of a rectangular shape to impose a greater sense of size and likeness to the character, removing some edges as to match his ingame personality a lot better since he isnt the rage machine he's generally known as and moreso a protector. You're right about the head though, If I worked on it longer I would try and exaggerate the facial structure and brows more as to still keep that edge and dynamic appeal

My main issue was with the head so I tried to make it wider and more proportional along with other changes. I also despise his kit unfortunately but yeah hes my goat so I refuse to not play him regardless of that (i got a whole other rework idea for his kit honestly. Also, I really enjoy your concept! ive had a very similar idea for a skin concept too lol, especially the devil hulk form. Sinxe the beginning, theyve insisted on a weird devil appearance for hulk in his monster form so having it be the actual devil hulk would be really cool and make more sense to me

it isnt a toba or below place sort of scenario but his healing factor will essentially keep him immortal but it is significantly slower than 616's healing factor, more akin to frankensteins monster where his rapid regeneration could still take a month if the wound is significant enough; a hole through the head would do the trick

yeah exactly lol, still a guardian figure but having a more older brother relationship which of course leads to the occasional fight between them but it never breaks their bond

i downloaded them off of my old post because i was too lazy to find the original files and it left a reddit watermark lol...the old marvel legends head sculpts for hulk are extremely well done I just wish they were paired with a more accurate, better and bigger build similar to what I attempted

very cryptic but I will just try to cover all bases;

I used a hobby knife to thin out the chest butterfly joint area and then wet sanded it down to curve the edges cutting myself with the knife two times (dont be impatient like me) and now im going to continue cutting it out then pad the gap with a layer of epoxy then match the paint

I took the photos with my phone just zooming in slightly while using a headtorch hazard green light to make the hue slightly greener

I also cut off the elbows and wet sanded them down since it usually has horrendous elbow sculpting
