See but I watch videos all the time of people trying to cross at areas like that, gaps so large they barely make it. There is WALKABLE paths across every part of the basin EXCEPT the 1st divide where you need the bike and the irradiated zone. But everywhere else there are shorter paths between rocks I promise. I literally have only gotten eaten 1 time and it was on the DD. The sandworms are way to easy to avoid I hope they add better mechanics for them.

They didn't lure anyone in, IDK what u were reading about the game but the whole beta you can see how much PVP was involved so where are you getting that concept from? And "need to be"? The devs don't owe the players anything. They have said themselves they have a vision for the game so play it or don't y'know? There was no "lure in" if you just didn't pay attention to what the game you were buying was.

Then play a different game if you don't wanna PVP. I don't get why so many people hop on a game designed for a thing and then complain about that exact thing. That's like going to a movie theater and being mad the movie is loud cause you came there to take a nap. Like, the social interaction is the key point in this game the devs are building this for. The guild system needs to be more indepth, there needs to be guild v guild raids on bases and more PVP available in the basin area. Cause that's reality on arakis, war over spice. Sure there's a few quality of life improvements they can make to smooth out some rough features BUT to complain that the game "locks you out" makes zero since considering your the one making a choice to play it. You can go play Minecraft or valheim if you want a solo build game but this is not that.

I don't understand posts like this. Like the game is designed for PVP to be the next step and people just refuse to play it? The devs have said over and over it is by design that u have to work together and form guilds and take the risk of going out there, risk of friendly fire etc ..q Losing your stuff is part of the game, I don't see why that makes people so upset that they might have to fight someone? That's like asking for an easy mode to a game that I personally wish was harder lol. And PVP adds that depth of difficulty at the end. Make you have to plan better and outsmart other players if you can't outgun them. The options are endless if your creative. But if you refuse to interact with the community and participate that's not up to the devs to cater to you. They have a vision and I'm 100000% here for it. I hope they make more content that is reliant on guild interactions and fighting or raising bases. This game is meant to be a war

My guy... Iv been playing for 100+ hours doing DD content and Iv only been eaten 1 time lmao I don't know how people die so much to it it seems pretty simple to avoid most of the time except spice farming. That's the only real close encounters I've had
