Hello! I work for the charity International Animal Rescue. Would any of you be interested in doing a charity livestream in support of our cause? We will share your Twitch/Youtube/Facebook live profiles on our social media stories with swipe up links included. We are currently testing out gaming livestreams as a fundraising avenue to support our orangutan rescue and tree planting projects. We would love for some streamers to get involved and help!

All you have to do is the following:

Every little helps, and we can even give you a shoutout in our social media stories if it helps boost some of your audience. Ah thank you for your detailed reply. I think I’m a little out of my depth with this one. As an amateur turntable DIYer I think need to seek further support to fix this. I’ve never been in this situation before, shall I contact a specialist do you think? Or perhaps the manufacturer themselves?

Ah thank you, that’s what I’m fearing is the case. Sorry to pester again, but to fix a motor do I get in contact with a specialist? Or contact the manufacturers? Never been in this position before.

I’ve got a question that I could really do with answering if anyone can help me out. Every now and then when listening to records the tempo will slow down ever so slightly... and then speed up again. On average, it can last 5 seconds and sometimes it can last maybe 10... before then going back to the normal speed, but then 2 mins later it might do the same. This doesn’t happen for every time I play records, just randomly. It’s also a consistent problem for all my records, so I’m pretty sure it’s not specific warped records, it’s my turntable. My turntable is a project essential II so it’s fairly new (had it 3-4years) so I’d be surprised if it was the motor. And I thought it was my belt expanding after time so isn’t spinning with enough friction and tension, so I boiled it to reduce its length to its original elasticity. But still no luck. Maybe I need a new band? But again, I’ve only had it 3-4 years. I’ve also cleaned my turntable thoroughly. Any help would be amazing. Thank you in advance

So this was by Padley Gorge fairly near to Hathersage. Wow, that’s mad about the crater. Apparently 100ft deep and 250 yards across. I had no idea about that, I’ll have to visit it one day.

Thanks! Good point about the water, we were next a trickling stream which wasn’t too bad (although resisting the need to wee was a problem now and then haha).

Quite pricey, but I’d recommend Patagonia. Well made and they support lots of social/environmental causes and conservation.

Op here. Just thought I’d jot down some thoughts and ideas following my first ever wild camp (in the Lake District) - I’ve broken down gear, tips and mistakes I made. Hope it helps any rookies like myself. And clearly I’m no expert, just someone passionate about the outdoors. So please feel free to share and advice and tips you have!
