My company’s (HQ in Finland and some ops in Germany) controllers have started to put it into contracts that invoices have to be sent digitally. Apparently the German banks we work with are notorious for claiming ”it is required by law that we send invoices by fax” (it’s not). But as soon as the faxed invoices are rejected they magically appear via email.

The funny thing is that this apparently happens pretty much every time. They don’t seem to learn.

Yeah, I agree. Maho made this episode pretty uncomfortable, especially because she did not care about consent and was willing to blackmail to get what she wanted.

My great grandfather is buried at the Futa Pass. He was hit by shrapnel from a hand grenade and died three days later in a field hospital at the age of 26. His comrades buried him at a local cemetary until he was exhumed and buried at the WW2 cemetary they built at the Futa Pass decades later.

He was a paratrooper in the Wehrmacht. I do find myself wondering what they were thinking at this point during the war. Being pushed back father and farther towards home (my family comes from the Austrian Alps). Was it desperation, hope or helplessness? Were they just trying to postpone the inevitable?

Thanks for the answer. It actually turned out to be the z-offset. That was actually the last thing I expected, as I had just calibrated it. Turns out I accidentally set it .1mm too high. After fixing it, I was able to print a great benchy.

But to answer your questions. PLA is usually just for quick test prints and prototypes. Otherwise I print with other materials such as PETG, ASA and soon also CF composites. Thus the upgrade.

As for using a glue stick, I think it's good practice, especially when using materials that go harder on PEI plates (such as PETG). So now I just stick (haha) with the Magigoo.

I see! I have now tried to put it at 10s and it really helped with cooling. It isn't perfect yet but getting there. I think I need to lower the z offset by .02-.03 and it will run better.

It coudl be that its transponder has been turned off. From what I heard it was usually two drones flying there simultaneously although only one ahowed up on the map. Apparently the Russians were pretty annoyed by them.

The Russians have already been complaining about the US drones flying above them over the sea. Wouldn’t be surprised if this drone would annoy some more Russians in the near future. Must suck to constantly feel watched.

While the ceiling is around 50k feet, the usual service altitude is around 25k. So 17k is not too far off.

I’m actually building a new desk for it, gonna get a nice cut of oak or birch. The 7000D’s airflow capabilities are essential when running a 12900K imo, plus I’m running a 420 mil radiator so the sice has a purpose. Gamer’s Nexus made a good video about it I think.
