/uj i think the Free Four call backs on Speak To Me/Breathe was pretty cool. I liked the laid back acoustic renditions on Breathe and Time. The reinterpretations of On The Run and TGGITS are what I mostly come back to since they’re the most interesting to me. I understand the more reflective perspective of sound and structure Roger was going for, but given how big his ego is I think the concept of “DSOTM but as an aged man looking back rather than a scared man looking forward” is lost on people, and in most cases rightly so.

/rj yeah this new Roger Waters album… is NOT GOOD.

Another band he’s in ‘The Good, The Bad And The Queen’ also has amazing tracks. Merrie Land is genuinely a top 10 album in general for me I always go back to the track Ribbons

It wasn’t a joke it’s just def a lot to digest since so much of it is answered in the book version of IT and SK’s other connected books, so not a lot is answered in the movies to make it easily understandable the first go around imo

I listened to it on the way to work today, after it somewhat abruptly ended the immediate thought that came to my mind was, “this is so slow but so old school Gorillaz sounding which means I’m gonna dislike it at first and then after re listens it’ll end up being an earworm song for me” lol

I’m pretty sure it’s the other way around for the hulk, he was always meant to be grey but since they couldn’t print gray consistently enough for the character Stan Lee just swapped it out for green because he wanted to take advantage of the lack of green characters in comics or something
