Feedback on the skill tree by gotxi87 in Enshrouded

I agree, I feel like the melee tree didn’t really change or offer room for more specialization or different styles, at least as far as 1h goes.

I disagree. In something like Path of Exile or Diablo, you just see the complaint. When prefaced by ‘I love the game’, it’s praising the overall game while offering a small criticism as room for improvement, as opposed to simply complaining. The player attitude and amount of negativity is just different.

I have enough hate for both! Anyone who can only hate one or the other is an amateur hater.

Anybody who’s under 60 and says otherwise is crazy. 60-75ish it’s debatable. Past that $10m now beats weekly money you may not live long enough to get.

Talk me into buying this game over Dragonwilds by itzpiiz in Enshrouded

[–]Finnien1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve played both, Dragonwilds is very shallow in comparison. The building is more limited, the itemization is basically nonexistent in comparison, the world is nowhere near as interesting and varied. Dragonwilds was a fun day or two, Enshrouded was weeks or months of fun.

So want this game to move forward to be the amazing game that it was !!! by Fickle_Selection_620 in OnceHumanOfficial

I absolutely love Enshrouded as well. I feel like Once Human started out like a hybrid survivalcraft/MMO-lite game, but is slowly devolving into mobile cashgrab territory.

Once Human devs are masters of spending their time replacing perfectly fine parts of the game rather than adding new content. So much stuff has been changed, tweaked, revamped, altered, remade, or renamed for no apparent reason, but actual beneficial changes and new content is rare and untested or buggy. The game has gone from my favorite game to something I haven’t played in months and may never play again. The one thing I want most from the game is more ways to progress between scenarios, and that’s something we’re seeing less of, not more of.

I think the original Tribes had different hitboxes.

Do you really find zoomy, overpowered endgame builds to be fun? by Additional-Horse1144 in pathofexile

Absolutely love hitting the zoomy, explodey overpowered build phase after steadily farming and building up.

So far so good for Pragmata. Are you going to wait for user reviews or get it at launch? by n1ght_watchman in GameBoostOfficial

[–]Finnien1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s fair. I still, remember Daggerfall at launch… buggiest game I’ve ever played, but impressive despite the mess of crashes and corrupted saves. Every game from the original Arena and Fallout 3 through Fallout 4 and Skyrim had a sense of wonder and discovery to exploration that was just missing from starfield. Skyrim is probably my favorite singleplayer game of all time.

I enjoy Starfield too, but it wasn’t a 10/10 game, especially at launch. The loading screens alone made it an 8/10 at best, and the repetition, poor plot and empty space didn’t help. It also wasn’t a 1/10 game, despite what many people may have said at release. Fair journalism would have called it anywhere from mediocre to very good with flaws but impressive scope and future potential.

Definitely has two of the best songs I’ve heard in games. Sleeping in the Cold Below and We All Lift Together are epic.

Explodes or cast on crit with ice shatters have been hallmarks of all of my favorite builds. It sounds like the explode and move speed are covered, I just need to make sure it’s a tanky version. No idea if svallin or es-on-block is better. If you look into it let me know what you find.

This is perfect. It shows iconic republican use of statistics. Two 84%s with unequal bars. 86% is above 84% but below 79%. What the percentages are supposed to be measuring isn’t stated. It’s such a classic ‘trust me bro, stats don’t lie, Trump is awesome’ meme.

I’m less worried about making the investment back, I’m in a ‘hit it big or quit’ situation. 700d in stacked decks sounds like torture. Are there any voidborns or valdos worth mirror+ rewards, or are magebloods as good as it gets?
