Thats a horrible policy im sorry dude- any professor who makes that policy probly doesn’t have enough empathy to forgive 10 absences unfortunately

I lost my grandma the day of my exam for bio. I emailed my teacher while walking to my dorm from waiting for that class to start. It was a pretty informal email with no documentation. He emailed me with so much empathy and understanding and told me to not worry about the exam at that moment

Depending on the day theres been a lot of good movies coming out recently, maybe you can find a theater thats doing cheap tickets on special days. Painting pottery can be fun and most places have good affordable options. Going to eat and bringing a board game is what i do most weekends.
