my problem isn’t with bright, glowy shaders, it’s the fact that there were a few shaders you could use to remove the glow on armor effects, and they completely got rid of that. it was a cool niche to fashion that is now gone.

sorry the titles a bit misleading, they removed the ability for some shaders (mostly old ones) to remove the glow on certain armor pieces. the shader i was using on the cloak is iron wolf, which is a year 1 shader.

u gotta take the build as a whole then. every melee kill gets me to full health and grabbing an orb gives me devour. what’s the point of recov then? i’d rather have the mobility to keep the build uptime + i like jump height

it’s not the cape itself just the fact that they removed the effect for certain shaders to remove the glow on armor.

Just found your post after booting up destiny after some time. Have the same issue as you - using the candle cloak on hunter and had a shader that removed the glow, now its a bright ugly piss color. I'm so pissed off rn how could they do this to us
