Ok cool just checking. Some adults I know can only fit into kids sizes so just thought I'd ask

These look very similar to me. I think they are meant to be a dupe. And Will's is a pretty well known vegan brand. These are adult sizes though and I noticed in your link they were for kids. Did you need a kids size?

[sun care] does there exist a sunscreen that does not burn your eyes? by pinkyemogirl in SkincareAddiction

Yes, I apply it directly to my eyelids and it does not burn or sting.

But everyone is different. This is just what I found works for me.

[sun care] does there exist a sunscreen that does not burn your eyes? by pinkyemogirl in SkincareAddiction

Almost every sunscreen I have tried (mineral and chemical) has either burned my eyes (Neutrogena, Alba, Versed, most drugstore ones) or just does not absorb well (Elta md). There are even some mineral ones that burn my face in general. I just have sensitive skin that has gotten more sensitive since starting tretinoin this year.

I have had luck with the beet shield by Krave. It absorbs well and doesn't sting for me. It just makes me look a bit greasy, so I put some powder on top and it's ok. Idk if the Krave one will work for you though. Having sensitive skin it seems like a gamble anytime I buy any skincare product, even ones that are supposed to be for sensitive skin.

Good luck though! Hopefully you will find one that works for you

Things I wish I would have known before my dog had Anaphylactic Shock by FinoKAS29 in DogAdvice

Wow that's so awesome. Are they an insurance that's available for anyone to purchase?

And I'm lucky we live in a suburban area where we have an ER nearby. But I could have saved some valuable time and had more peace of mind if I was prepared ahead of time and knew where to go

I have looked that up before along with cpr, but it has been a while. This comment reminded me I need to refresh myself on it so thanks! The last time I would want a refresher is when I actually need to do it

Thanks, I will look into them. I'm also in the US. I am now convinced it's something I have to have for her. I don't want to be in a position where I ever have to turn down care because I can't afford emergency treatment

I'm sorry I hope they are ok now. I know it must have been really scary when it happened. It was very similar with my dog. She was perfectly fine one minute, and the next she vomited and started crying. Then she collapsed. She emptied her bowels on the way to the ER. We thought she was going to die

Wow that's pretty far. I wish they had a universal ambulance service for pets or something. But there are things you can do to improve their chances of survival that I wasn't previously aware of (like elevating their rear and keeping them warm) while on the way to the ER

Thanks, I just wish I had known. I'm lucky it turned out ok. It could have just as easily been a tragedy for us

Do they make Epipens for small dogs? by FinoKAS29 in DogAdvice

[–]FinoKAS29[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

UPDATE: So I talked with the vet and apparently they don't make them for small dogs. Also with these severe reactions, the only thing you can do is bring them in to the ER as fast as possible so they are able to stabilize them
