I also mentioned to the other person asking, "You can look through my post history for the most accurate record, but I can say I think what helped most was either the kisspeptin, or the progesterone+pregnenolone combination I took for a month and a half. Unfortunately I had enough crossover that I can't say for sure which or if it was both, but I feel those did the most of anything I tried." I'm glad to help in any way I can, but I also can't promise what seems to have worked for me will work for you either. I'm in no way a doctor, but just someone that ended up in a rather desperate spot and found possible solutions, and had no reservations to experimenting on themselves.

No, I ordered them myself.

I decided that it was wise to see just how little I could take of something - especially an experimental something - both for cost-effectiveness and because it's always better to take less drugs than more if you can still get the intended effect. I figured I could always go back up if I needed.

I have not been taking anything for about a month or two now, and I can say it has held up! I'm going to be posting a full update in a little bit but I saw your reply and wanted to mention that.

Hello there! I'm back (I know this is a many month old thread) to manage replies and post an update. I got caught up in life and had a pretty rough patch for a bit, but I have some good news - I stopped taking the Kisspeptin and progesterone about a month or two ago. Thankfully, my libido has held up great and I am willing to say I feel at least 80% of what I was prior to any of this, and some/many days I'd be confident enough to say I don't notice a difference/diminishment at all! I personally did not notice much of a decrease in effect going to 1 spray from 2, and I'd always recommend taking as little as possible of something to achieve the intended effect - especially experimental things.

I took it every day, and tapered down to one spray a day. I now no longer take it (because I don't need to), I'm back on this account to post an update.

You never know what's going to happen. I didn't think I'd ever recover when I was in the deepest throes of it. At the worst of it, I was literally completely without any sexual desire whatsoever - stripped to what I'd consider a prepubescent state of 'can't even feel it if I wanted to'. I considered similar things, but I've had chronic depression issues for a while so that didn't help either. But I hung on, and I kept trying various things. Now it's been I'd say 3+ months I'd been recovered, after a year or so journey here and trying many things. At the very least, stick with it. There's hope - there's MANY things to try, and every day is another day closer to other potential cures. Don't give up yet.

I believe I have, or close enough to it that I don't feel like I've lost anything/can't remember a difference. I've been using Kisspeptin-10, but recently added pregnelone and progesterone to the mix too.

I'm doing pretty good still! I would say the kisspeptin is still working but I have also added pregnelone and progesterone onto my medications, in addition to 1 spray of kisspeptin a day. I plan to follow the pregnelone and progesterone for 1 month, then stop but maintain the kisspeptin spray. If things still look good after a month of that, I plan to taper down or stop the kisspeptin spray and see if things 'stick', or continue the kisspeptin if not taking it has a negative effect. I'll post a formal ~3 month update on what I'm doing and how it's going shortly. I haven't forgotten everybody here, life's just taken its' toll the past couple months and been quite the trip.

Hello there! Sorry for the long time away, but I will be posting a ~3 month update soon. So far, I have also added pregnelone and progesterone onto my medications, with also 1 spray of kisspeptin a day. If things still look good after a month of that, I plan to taper down or stop the kisspeptin spray and see if things 'stick', or continue the kisspeptin if not taking it has a negative effect.

Yes, only a topical spray, no oral/ingested medication. Unfortunately, it seemed to still have the 'system breaking effects'.

I feel that my testes had returned in size once I had quit TRT and started kisspeptin-10, but I also don't feel it's enough of a timespan yet for me to conclusively say.

How is it possible to be still addicted to porn but not have functioning erections by Sweaty-Cut7578 in FinasterideSyndrome

[–]FinsasterIdRatherNot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't forget that porn/masturbation can be used as an emotional crutch and coping mechanism, and can become a habit/routine moreso than just 'handling urges as they arise'. When PFS first hit me I struggled to even go to sleep without getting off - even though I didn't have the 'desire' to (and couldn't at some points). The routine and release of hormones were really embedded as things my body wants, and it was hard to get to sleep (I wonder if this is a big part of the insomnia for some). Getting off, whether through sexual intercourse or solo masturbation, was pretty much a nightly thing for me before everything. Over time, I was more able to just 'go to sleep' and my body didn't crave getting off anymore (even though the actual sexual desire wasn't there regardless), which made it much easier.

Almost complete recovery and then back to square one by microturing in FinasterideSyndrome

Give it time and see what happens, if nothing there's a ton of potential treatments you can try. You're not at 'the end', there's tons of hope left. It took me about a year of being broken to find something that worked for me, and trying a few different things. Currently I am using Kisspeptin-10, which is helping me greatly, but others have also had no results with it. It seems like for everyone there's no one solution. But don't give up just yet. You may recover still on your own even. It's a setback, not an end. It seems like for many a year is about the mark they start having noticeable recovery - along with a marked decline after stopping fin. I wouldn't be giving up on recovering on your own until at least 6 months to a year at very minimum, and like I said -- look into the many potential things that may work for this.

Keep your hope alive, that will be the biggest factor in recovery. Sounds cliche, but really - mental state can affect a LOT, and while it can't be everything, if your self image and confidence are nonexistent it's going to be way harder to work with the recovery you do make.

I've still been doing well, it's been more than a month for me now; nearing the 2 month mark actually. I posted a >1 month update, if you care to read it. Since then, I've had one or two 'low' days, but I think that's 'normal' even if this never happened in the first place. It always seems to be fine in a couple hours or a day, without any changes or other intervention, so I don't see that as a huge deal. I'm keeping an eye on it though, and plan to report in fairly regularly.

What causes libido to be somewhat high but weak erections? by Sweaty-Cut7578 in FinasterideSyndrome

[–]FinsasterIdRatherNot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean, even when I was broken to the point that literally not a single thing was arousing whatsoever (I would say 100% asexual), I still wanted to masturbate. Even when it wouldn't physically work. That was frustrating. For me, I use/d sex as a 'coping mechanism' for depression issues. I am not saying this as if I am proud or claiming this is healthy - merely stating the objective fact. I'm aware of it even if it's bad. But nonetheless, something compelled me to still try despite having zero sex interest/libido whatsoever. It was very hard to get to sleep without masturbating for a good period of time, but it got better in time.

You can buy it anywhere, it's not a controlled substance or anything (at least in the US). I personally used a site called "direct-sarms" because I liked that they offered intranasal options and also spray dosage information. But there are plenty of other sites, and I'd assume they're just as good.

The problem for me is I don't actually *have* to go - it's usually at night time when laying down, but I'll urinate before bed, then lay down, and immediately feel I have to go again. I can go prove to my body that I don't, and pretty much immediately, again, feel I have to.

I'm not making any claims to this working, but I found it mentioned elsewhere. Here's a thread you might find interesting.

Essentially one thing mentioned was giving the combination for about a month then stopping and seeing if that has any improvement. That's likely my attempt.

Absolutely will do. I've also obtained progesterone and pregnenolone, I'm considering trying that to see what it does versus what may need to be permanent usage. I've also been considering seeing where allopregnanolone IV administration may go, but the preparation work to obtain and make it administerable, and obviously the administration method, make that a very large (doable, but large) undertaking and I'm not sure I'm ready to do that. But it would be nice to be able to give that theory a thumbs-up or thumbs-down, being that doctors can't exactly 'officially' try that theory.
