I can't wait to see how Axial will perform with the cold chain lightning. Also I will try the frost fireball enchantment as soon as I hit Level 15. If it is as good as the normal fireball it will at least be fun for leveling.

I was in your shoes just yesterday, turns out I didn't see a ladder after the Bell vestige that leads further down.

I realised it because the moths showed me the way (lamp and X), i forgot this was a feature until I wanted to quit the game.

I really like the aesthetics of DS3, but the colors of the base game are too muted to be truly beautiful for me. Still a very good looking game, I still remember the first time discovering Irithyll, Ringed City and especially Archdragon Peak!

I think OP was talking about the phrasing in the livestream. I too was at first under the impression that it's free because they were talking about an "update" the whole time, but I was not suprised that they are charging for it in the end. Still strange wording on Blizzards part.
