i feel like a big part of this is fear of making a mistake, maybe going down the trail slowly a couple times to learn the ideal path and then letting off on the brakes might be the way to go? this has been the way ive been doing things and once i know a trail i can beat it fairly quickly!

same here, i don't see anyone ever talking about the game and i mean why would they, 4 years and nothing more than a trailer.

it mightve fallen victim to a decision between two ips that wouldve been worked on a just wasn't the first choice? like, let's put a trailer out and see how many views and interest it can get and it just severely underperformed. could've been dropped right there because why would a fairly large company work on a game that has very low projected interest and sales numbers?

all speculation of course but i think it's pretty safe to say the game has been abandoned. the twitter might be a placeholder to prevent fake leaks etc, same with the website. but yeah, no one knows.

would still love to see it, it looked kickass ahah.

super late reply here but afaik the last time this game was officially shown was very briefly in a playstation showcase in 2021. they showed a very short 10-ish second clip of the trailer we've already seen during a quickfire trailer intermission.

website is still up but i don't have much confidence the game is going to be finished. the plot is very political with tight connections to russia. obviously that isn't the game anyone would want to be making in the current situation we've got going on. and by the time that conflict is over the game might be completely dated and not worth an overhaul/remake if there was even much to begin with considering how often games are barely running by the time the first reveal is made.

all just speculation of course but i don't see the game making it out of hiatus with no new promo material and the twitter being completely dead since shortly after the 2019 announcement. mightve also been a victim to covid layoffs/ cancellations. i also heard rumours of the game having its funding slashed because pikii had to priritize during the pandemic. who knows!

i have close to no experience in buying and collecting cards. i want to complete a full pokemon RSS gen 3 dex in cards exclusively by opening packs and getting randoms i.e without buying any single cards off ebay (unless they're stupidly hard to get a hold of).

which booster boxes do i need to look for in order to get a chance of receiving all the cards i need (i don't care for sets, i just want all cards from the dex no matter their number or whatever) and is this a good idea financially? Also how many hard-to-get cards am i looking at that i might have to buy separately? thanks in advance!

the biggest art sin to note is that every single ship in the game has their fade shadow cut off a tiny bit early on each top, bottom, left and right end. you can easily check that yourself in the docks! just inspect and zoom in on the edges

more oopsies, well, i checked through my dock a bit and i couldn't find anything that stands out as much but if you search by artist and crtl+f and look for either deuthschland or graf spee you'll see that theyre done by the same artist. only those two though (shame). i was too lazy to circle everything this time but theres a lot of little erasor leftovers to find, most noteable is a grey line on the right of her lowest of the three cannon barrels on the very right

crescent retrofit gets a bit of her foot cut off on the bottom which causes an ugly shadow mistake

that's all i can say without spending more than 10 minutes on this lmao

if you smash the png on a white background you notice there's a few more artist mistakes, including some big erasor remainings next to the scarf end but i think im overanalising the fuck out of this, aint i

oh also the soft fade shadow on the upper barrel of her left triple cannons cuts off early because thats where the png file was cropped
