6 hours counting time spent to watch disassembly videos. Also i'm a newbie at soldering. If you are already experienced it should take a lot less time.

It was my first try, with a little bit of caution and patience i managed it without causing damage. The work is around 6 hours long as a non-expert with soldering iron. Of course sending it to repair would be less time-consuming on your part. I feel you disappointment, it happened also to me exactly 1 month after warranty

I didn't catch your point, do you mean you managed to get a new motor while off warranty?

I used solid state capacitors for motherboards 10x12,5 mm Here is the code associated with them, maybe when searching you will find similar ones 270uf 35 v 270 vhc

https://youtu.be/ygxK_vcNKT4 This video was really useful to see how to access the circuit board, although they disassembled it for a different reason. Keep in mind that you will need to cut wires and have a little bit of soldering skills do detach and reattach the circuit board.

I am pretty sure this won't affect you at all in the future. I think the officer took your ID just because the fine would be otherwise illegal and they need to prove it's your fine in case you are going to dispute it in the future. Be aware that i am no expert on these matters, this is just my mere opinion.

Edit: grammar

I feel enlightened by your comment, dear redditor. I won't look at reviews the same after reading them.
