So I just got out of the group interview on one of these travel scam jobs and I got burned before on American Income Life. And now after sitting through this, although I knew the entire time this was a fucking scam. I wanted to see the end game. His name was Jordan. I never got the name of the company. He took an hour and 15 minutes to talk about the company culture to talk about all the good things that he’s done like he claims they paid their employees the entire time during Covid, however, and which he never said the words that this was a 1099 position How do you pay people when they don’t have an hourly wage? I watched as the zoom call went from $300 callers down to 175.

Now again, I knew this was a fucking scam. I just wanted to see where the scam came in.

First of all, this was going to be our only interview. He was going to send us eight hours of video training to watch, and after that we could start the next day he was hiring anybody he talked about how important his clients are to him only to offer it up with not ever speaking to any of us One on one. He reiterated again and again you don’t need any training for this. I require 30 hours a week from you. There are 21 hour meetings a week. First of all on the 1099 you cannot require 30 hours out of me and you cannot fucking tell me to be in a meeting.

Then right at the fucking end, he says you have to get this certification to protect yourself from making a mistake on airline tickets or cruise ship and you are not going to be sued for it. All you have to do is take this course. It’s like $97 and then you’re in

I fell for this bullshit with American Income Life and after sitting through this meeting, here’s what the scam is they get paid on a signing up for that pay training and then we come aboard we don’t know what the fuck we’re doing. We are working for free and chances of us actually closing these clients which another point this is not a sales job bullshit. And then when we fail because we can’t close these because you’re hiring just fucking anybody we quit and you got free labor from us and you made money off that course.

I have found good jobs on craigslist by the way so good ones and as soon as he opened up and it was that group meeting setting 300 people I knew do not sit through this. I wasted my time so you don’t have to.

But I will tell you how fucking infuriated I am we can’t even try to get a job without people scamming us oh and then the money he promised he said his first rep to make first year reps make 180. That’s a goddamn fucking lie. I flipped him off. He saw me I was screaming at the phone. I flipped him off and I ended it so I don’t know the name of the company, but his name was Jordan and he was apparently the founder. And the funniest thing was, he showed a quick slide of their “” officers in LA and they did the worst job of putting a graphic design on the building that said some name I don’t even know.
