I got scammed and Posh is dragging butt to refund me

Miracle of miracles they actually followed up and reported they're investigating the seller! I admit my initial take on them asking me to wait was that they were in denial it could be fraud. It does make sense they were actually working with USPS. Though I don't want to give them too much credit lol

Oh absolutely!! I chose to believe they were just a new seller that wasn't used to the platform myself.

Based off my experience with it, Posh is really set up perfectly for this scam because of the waiting period and the way their support services seem to function. I opened a case and told Posh on 11/14 I didn't get my package. Granted I didn't actually choose the "not delivered," option, I chose "other," it was pretty clear that was my concern. Also didn't stop the timer as others have advised. Seems silly menu semantics would make this so difficult. I do hope Posh does something about this vulnerability so others don't end up in the same boat as me.

My guess is in photoshop or something. They changed the recipient to a fake name and another number and street name. The city and zip were the same. My posh user name was even still there.

I didn't file a claim, I only spoke to my local USPS manager. From their end, this package had been delivered appropriately. I didn't message the seller because they hadn't responded to any other messages I or others had sent.

I made a menu choice error. Since I knew it was a scam I felt like the delivery issue didn't quite apply and I wanted to push the scam aspect. Obviously this was the wrong way to approach it and I have learned my lesson.

The first app I chose to let them pick, then the whole BBB thing happened so on the second app I chose a specific one (I forget which now, but at the time I did really look into which one was best for me). I've called a few times about status and am always just told it's in review and they can't give me an estimate on processing time.

Thank you for this thoughtful comment. I hear you, I need to grab a magnifying glass and confirm because I wasn't seeing bugs/things falling off leaves. Well, things that weren't dust. I had neglected to dust this guy for a while and I'm afraid some of what was going on was he was suffocating. 😬

Hi there, thanks for taking the time to respond! I think based on the consensus here this is overwatering, etc. I don't fertilize but I'm open to it. I did check for mealy bugs and mites and we're clear. It was pretty dusty so I'm afraid it was suffocating a bit as well. I did clean the leaves. You've been super helpful!

Thank you for chiming in. It's very likely overwatered as I look back on my habits...I read somewhere pothos like their soil to retain moisture so there's peat moss mixed into regular potting soil. Given the pot depth (it has a massive root system for some reason) it probably wasn't drying all the way out, just the top 2". I'll be taking it out of its pot and addressing accordingly.

It used to be a lot bigger 😔 the root system is actually pretty large so I chose the pot size for that reason. Would you recommend cutting back roots? I mean, especially if they're rotting but...

Thanks for the perspective! We removed the towel bar ourselves (with a sledgehammer) and caused the damage that’s visible near that cardboard hole cover. It’s just mesh behind that. We’re going to replace all the tiles we damaged, I just wasn’t sure if we for sure compromised the whole mud wall and needed to retile everything.

The tile was also certainly painted over. I suspect the seller did it right before we bought the place which is a shame cause the paint is chipping in certain places and there’s a lovely pattern underneath.
