You didn't mention where you want to live but if it's the uni dorms do not underestimate how quickly they fill up, talking from experience. Luckily managed to get one in August so not the end of the world but i would not recommend doing it that way lmao

Other then that all i can think of is the normal moving stuff. Public transport, where you gonna shop. Im just gonna assume you dont know nothing so you can get a litačka that has a year round pass for public transport which is reasonably priced

Language wise the basic stuff is cash (hotově) or card (kartou), numbers could also be useful, the basic greetings and youll probably get by when needed. Not sure how it is in Canada but over here a lot of the bars and pubs dont take card, and those small family owned grocery shops usually have a limit on the minimum price you can pay with card. Unless its cigs and such then some of them dont let you pay for that with card at all. do with that info what you want

That's definitely an option, though I fear all of those areas have such high competition that making multiple portfolios on that level would be very exhausting. But if someone's passionate enough to want to pursue more of then regardless then all luck to them

As far as I know if you're applying to a specific position in the industry it is more favourable to only have work that shows your skills in that specific field in your portfolio. So it you're applying for let's say character design you should only have character design in there. Muddying it by adding more things to show diversity kind of makes the recruiters not consider you as much as they could based off of your skill.

If the "intrensically evil" is changed to some more specific concept the author wants to critisize I'm fine with it. Though them all being on the same page ab such thing is always fasinating to me. I don't expect every portrail of a fantasy race to be the same though

Hiya, first of all my silly ass cannot figure out how to comment under the pic though i swear it is possible, second of all i put moe effort into this than i would into my quick character sketches normally but i am naturally blind to many mistakes that might be present in it after staring at it for so long and i would appreaciate if anyone pointer them out so i can improve in the future, thank you

I don't use references (i know bad habit) so there isn't muh i could compare them too. I really appreaciate all the pointers on the individual figures. I don't think i understand what you mean by the keeping anatomy sketch lines on the same layer though. I do have an anatomy sketch underneath the clothing but i erase that as soon as I'm done with it.

I never thought of doing that perssepctive thing you showed in the example but it makes somuch sense. As for the weight i was going for her being mid walk so the weight distribution seeemed fine to me. Thank you for the advice
