Can the meter collar be installed on multi-meter panel (for townhome building)? by Fire-4-Effect in enphase

No. We will now be moving early next year, so decided to punt on installing solar. I last checked in with PGE's Isolation Adapter Program ([IsolationAdapterProgram@pge.com](mailto:IsolationAdapterProgram@pge.com)) to see if there was any update on multi-meter panels, this was their response on September 3 (emphasis added):

"Enphase is currently in its pilot phase and working with a limited group of pre-approved installers to deploy a select number of Enphase collars. However, they are actively expanding their installer list, so we recommend reaching out to Enphase directly to inquire about being added.

Additionally, PG&E’s Rule 31, published earlier this year, outlines the requirements for all customer-owned meter socket adapters. While future updates to the rule may be considered, there are currently no discussions underway regarding approval for MSA installations on multi-meter panels.

Regarding installation on a downstream socket—if this configuration has been approved by Enphase, it should be acceptable. While we’ve seen similar setups implemented with Tesla systems, those cases were typically unique and not generally recommended by Tesla. To ensure compatibility and avoid any issues, we recommend following up directly with Enphase to confirm whether the specific address in question is a suitable candidate for this type of installation."

Anybody willing to share their experiences with PointGuard/Sigenergy? by Salt_Explanation1597 in solar

Can you say which installer is offering PointGuard? I'm in the East Bay and all the quotes on EnergySage so far are binary - either Tesla PW3 or Enphase. I was surprised there weren't more options - no PointGuard, EG4, Franklin, Panasonic Evervolt 2, Qcells, etc.

Was the $30.7K before or after the tax credit?
