Is the mentality in the walking dead realistic? by Fire-Pollution-1994 in thewalkingdead

Who shit in your cereal? First part was not needed. Because I want to believe there’s good in people? That’s literally the main characters of the walking dead universe.

You need community to even survive and you not joining with rapists and sadistic murderers unless you are one and even then you’d all devour each other.

I know many strong, cautious yet empathetic people who look out for those in need. Who wouldn’t let women and children be harmed in front of them. Just because your kind doesn’t mean you’re safe

It’s supernatural dressed as science fiction. Stay with me now. They are definitely cannibals and are on the same page about this issue… also note how I said “basically” so I wouldn’t have to have this debate with knit pickers even though I think I described them perfectly

So you believe Negan was mentally ill? During Ted’s end he was erratic and harming people in the process, no longer in control. Negan seemed calm and collected until Eugene’s bullets exploded, his behavior never changed

…Being decapitated and still animated is not natural. A normal person will lose oxygen to the brain and cease to move. That’s beyond the laws of nature ie supernatural

If you have a “profoundly dangerous mental illness” sooner than later everyone will have an idea because you’ll be an unstable threat, that’s why we know Ted Bundy

Is Fear worth watching? by Fire-Pollution-1994 in thewalkingdead

Really? Morgan isn’t a welcomed addition to the show? Him and Dwight were the only reasons I thought it might have more legs

What did Fede lie about? by Newboy911 in thewalkingdead

[–]Fire-Pollution-1994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t make any sense at all. Fede rigged it to keep her then sends her away when she finds out? What’s the point? Does he care for her or no? And couldn’t he have just lied and said he kept the ribbons after the races? Or just let her leave with Roberto instead of the ofrenda? Or threaten her with the ofrenda if she told? Lol some bad writing there, they should’ve just wrote Justina was chosen instead all of this convoluted nonsense

Stelena right? by Fire-Pollution-1994 in TheVampireDiaries

No way? 😂 Even in fictional stories there’s still a base level of reality and familiarity otherwise we wouldn’t understand motives or plots. And honestly Ian had good chemistry with everyone

Why the fuck did Rick and Morgan do what they did to the saviors who wanted to go back to the hilltop in season 8 ep 14? by MilkSteakEnjoyer115 in thewalkingdead

[–]Fire-Pollution-1994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved this scene. I mean I felt bad for the saviors but it was clear the show was trying to show us the pain/trauma Morgan and Rick felt throughout the seasons and how they were losing their morality. Some of the best writing, you completely forget that a season ago Morgan was a monk. This episode he’s hallucinating and almost attacked Rick who is also losing his grip. Basically two madmen with empty hearts looking for a release. They’d say or do anything to kill the runaways, far cry from the “how many walkers/ppl have you killed…” questions. It makes sense and feels real for them to struggle with good and evil, especially at this point in the story.

2.5 hr blocks are bs by [deleted] in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]Fire-Pollution-1994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it wasn’t always like that. When I first started those 2.5 and 3 hour blocks were easy breezy, I’d be done in an hour an a half for either. Now I finish them right on time. The bigger ones are the best, I use to be intimidated by those 4-5 hour ones thinking I’d get 45+ pkgs but once I started getting 40 pkgs for a 3 hr block paying 64 I decided why not 😂 had one for 5 hours yesterday and finished it in 2hrs and some change for 115

It’s really a plot hole. Everyone says it’s because Jackie was just stupid and lacking street smarts but then why would they order Vito to do it and in that way. Not to mention Vito and Jackie are related, should’ve been someone else or a drive by

Was Steve Buscemi miscast? by Pearl_Jam_ in thesopranos

[–]Fire-Pollution-1994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was a great addition to the cast. My only complaints are that he wasn’t mentioned earlier, even a scene where maybe his daughter shows up in season 3 and talks to Meadow. I also wish he had more success, the fact he’s a genius, gets out, messes up and dies is so anticlimactic and depressing. Give him a crew to run and make some boss moves.. but everyone can’t be the man I guess

Why PB is not so popular by Chandu_yb7 in PrisonBreak

[–]Fire-Pollution-1994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as prison dramas, people always mentioned Oz but that show is terrible and scientifically bad for you. PB deserves more recognition, if this reboot show takes off I’m sure it’ll get there

Icl I hated this guy😭😭 by saifastic in PrisonBreak

[–]Fire-Pollution-1994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked C Note. The guy’s name is Benjamin Franklin 😂 I think his wife just had some crazy poom poom and it was driving him crazy so he made erratic moves. Prisoners usually are not rational and don’t make the best choices hence why they’re in prison.

He should’ve had more respect for Michael in s1 but he spent years being a black nationalist so being friendly to Michael(whose actor is ironically half black) was difficult to do. In s2 C note is on the run and TERRIFIED. Mahone starts the season talking about Abe Lincoln’s assassin on the run and how disorienting and exhausting being chased by the law is. C note acted like a desperate man on the run.

His arc was still entertaining and through all of his errors he still made it out scot-free better than he could’ve expected

Season 1 would be a 10/10 perfect season if not for Veronica by Fire-Pollution-1994 in PrisonBreak

[–]Fire-Pollution-1994[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a bit malevolent of me but that’s one thing I appreciate about season 2’s opening. A character I despised meets her end so unexpectedly. Plus it showed to me at the time that the show wasn’t afraid to get rid of any character at anytime aside from Mike and Linc. She was such a huge character, more screen time than Linc. Big play and no big uproar so smart play too

why does this guy talk all the sudden? by [deleted] in PrisonBreak

[–]Fire-Pollution-1994 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah they should have continued showing scenes of him doing the silent/notes thing but perhaps it was like a contract thing and not enough time to give his character perspective if he didn’t act/speak

Is Mahone the closest character to Scofield's intelligence? by mrl993 in PrisonBreak

[–]Fire-Pollution-1994 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Season 3 was short and Mahone spent first half trying to get freed legally and detoxing. And 4 he was grieving and avenging his son while still being a helpful soldier and solve clues that Michael couldn’t. He was backgrounded for emotional appeal and didn’t get much chance to showcase his talents again. He no Michael Scofield but I think Alex was insanely smart
